Ava's P.O.V
The concert had just ended and the atmosphere was amazing, this has to be by far one of the best nights in my life. Being backstage at McFly's concert is something I never expected to experience in my life, but it just happened and I had met The Vamps and Mcfly in one day. Wow.
It had taken at least half an hour before the crowd had died down enough for us to leave the back room after the concert, we all left the room after I had let my dad know that the concert was over via text. When we walked out Joe seemed to be in a conversation with someone over the phone, his facial expressions let us know that what ever he was discussing wasn't good and left him quite stressed out. The members of McFly gave us hugs and said their goodbyes as they had to set off for the next location, we were all left in a group chatting waiting for Joe to finish his phone call.
"Ava, Skylar. We need to speak." Joe called us over away from the boys, this made me nervous. What the hell could Joe want to speak to us about, we haven't done anything wrong, have we? Joe interrupted my thoughts, "We have a problem, Ava I was just on the phone with your father and its not good. The Car is in no state to be driven and your father has no way of getting here, also It could take at least a few days for him to get a cover car and sort out some documents since he is practically in the middle of no where and it is a bank holiday weekend." Joe huffed and I looked at Sky who looked quite worried.
"Your dad has explained to me that he only gave you enough money for food and drinks and he doesn't exactly want you to stay in a hotel here on your own-"
"Joe they could just come with us for a couple of days right?" James interrupted Joe.
"Guys have you been listening all this time? Look I don't know, I know said to Ava's dad this morning that I would look after them until he gets here, but I don't think he would be happy with us taking the girls to Lincolnshire with us." Joe explained.
"What else do you suggest Joe dropping them off in Manchester on the way, we all know that would take almost five hours to make that stop in the middle. We wouldn't get to Lincolnshire till early morning and you know what we are like with no sleep Joe." James Argued back.
Sky and I just stood here, not knowing what to say and not wanting to be rude so we just let James speak for us. He seemed to be on our side. "You're right James, look I will give Ava's dad a quick call now and see what he thinks about this idea of yours. I guess it's the only thing we can do right now." Joe replied defeated, leaving James with a smile on his face. As Joe walked away holding his phone to his ear, James whispered "Don't worry, I've got this." Sending us a wink.
We had returned to the group of boys who all looked pleased with James' persuading, except from Brad who leant against the wall of the building with his earphones in and a frown on his face. We were all quietly talking and watching the conversation Joe was having with my dad, although we couldn't hear very well I could tell that my dad was being stubborn and reluctant to let us go as Joes face held a frown.
A few minutes had passed then Joe walked up to us his face still holding a frown, I turned my head to see that Tristan had a disappointed look on his face, I could feel butterflies in my stomach knowing that Tristan was disappointed about the whole situation. Tristan looked down at me and I smiled shyly to let him know that we'll be okay with whatever happens, he returned the smile only his was more confident.
Joe finally spoke up "I tried my hardest guys, but Ava's father is very hard to persuade." I turned my head back to Tristan noticing that the smile had disappeared from his face, like mine had. "However with my amazing persuading skills I managed to get permission for you girls to join us for the next few days just until everything is sorted out. I'm not too happy about this, but you two are different from other fans, so I think I can trust you to be with us." Before Joe had finished his sentence, the boys cheered followed by Tristan turning and hugging me tightly, I could feel warmth rising in my cheeks and the butterflies returned in my stomach at the physical contact between myself and Tristan. For one I don't care that I am blushing in front of everyone, I am so happy and nothing can ruin it.
It was about quarter to eleven when we made our way to the van, Brad had got in first sitting in one of the two window seats. Opposite Brad was Sky in the other window seat, Connor slid into the seat next to Sky and then James sat closest to the door. I shuffled my self to sit next to Brad and Tristan sat next to me, opposite from James. Once we were settled into our seats the van had started moving and we were on our way to Market Rasen in Lincolnshire for Rasen Rocks where the boys would support McFly once again.
