CHAPTER TWO

Well, it's offical. I bombed my tests.

I know, I know, as expected from me!

My mom is pissed, she grounded me for two months. And most likely till Christmas.

The new house we moved into, is not that crappy.

But it has a lot of pests though.

First off, I have dead mice, bugs, and I don't know what else the crap is in my room! Other than my bed and

It's also very far from school, I have to be out of the house by 7:15.

Sometimes I'm still late. It takes about 35-40 minutes to get to school.

Also, the school dance is tonight! Hate these things! It just doesn't appeal to me at all.

A crappy DJ, balloons filled with glowsticks. At least they can say that they tried.

I guess I'm being kinda mean but, it never

But, my crush convinced me to go. Even they are going with someone else.

That broke my heart a little.

But I couldn't say anything though, I was scared.

"Come on, it will be fun!" They had told me.

"Nah, I don't want to go, and, I promised my mom that I would help her, unpack stuff for the house." My voice getting softer as each word came out.

"Please!" My crush begs. "Everyone will be there."

"How could you say 'no' to this face?" They smile. Putting on a horrible doggy face.

"I've said 'no' to it before and..."

"Pretty Little Lairs please." Oh my god! That was the worst pun ever! I'll give 'em that for trying though.

Yes I love 'Pretty Little Lairs', and 'The Hunger Games' trilogy. I just like teen action, and drama as well.

Ok, I guess now is a good time to know about me.

I have dark brown hair, brown eyes, have two dogs, one cat, love the colors red, gold, and turquoise, my dad is out of my life, and I'm forever alone, oh my! So not a shocker!

"No I can,t, and..."

They put their hands in front of their eyes, and start to laugh.

"Then thou shalt be shunned." They say in their admitted laughter.

"Come on!" I say. "You can't shun me!"

"Ah, but I can. That's were you are wrong!" They say with triumph.

"Ugh, ok ok! I'll go, I'll go to the...."

"Yesss! I win! Success!" They shout pumping their hands up in joy.

"Go catch the bus!" I say with sarcasm.

"Ok, ok." They laugh. "Bye!"

"Bye!" I whisper.

Watching them leave for the bus-stop down the road.

Pulling out the note I had forever wanted to give them.

My heart was aching as I watched them go.

Wishing, no, wanting them ever so badly to know that I loved them.

"I love you." I whisper as the bus drives off.
