Chapter 1 - Kylie

New story guys. This book will be mostly in Kylie's point of view but I might have some of the others have a few chapters😉

 Chapter 1- Kylie

" Okay we got a lady in a building that is on fire. Kylie, you might want to use your telekinesis once you're inside to move some stuff out of your way. Uriah, be glad you are wearing fireproof stuff. I need you to shapeshift into a small bird. Once you are with the lady I need you to calm her down. She's in hysterics." I hear Alyssa, our hacker and weird kid,say through our earpieces. I roll my eyes and look over at my 14 year old second in command. He grins at me and points up. I nod. I imagine myself in the building near the woman. I teleport there while Uriah flies up. I am at least 15 feet away from the woman. Uriah is next to her calming her down. I put my hands up and pull up my telekinesis. I move wood after wood out of my way to get to the woman. I nod at Uriah and he shifts back into a bird. He flies off and leaves me with a crying woman.

" Hi, I'm here to help. Can you hold on to me? I'll take you down safely alright?" I say soothingly. The woman's nods and puts her arms around my waist. I grumble under my breath.

" Remind me again why this is my job?" I mumble into my earpiece. I hear Alyssa sigh.

" You're the oldest and the most dependable Kyls. People trust you." She says. I roll my eyes. I teleport me and the woman, who is clutching to me very tightly, sagely to the ground. She lets go of me and runs up to her family while me and Uriah teleport back to our hideout.

Sorry did that confuse you? Sorry let me introduce myself. I'm Kylie. And what you just saw was something me and my group call saving the world. Our group is called Unique for a reason. We were left alone in a forest when we were around two years old because our parents thought that having children with superpowers was weird. We all go to school and act like normal kids. Don't have many friends but that's how we like it. We are very unique. Each of us have our own set of powers. I have super speed and fantastic hearing. I am 16 and leader of Unique. Uriah, my second in command, has super strength and can shapeshift into any animal. Uriah is 14. Uriah's sister, Jessica can replicate voices and is the smartest one. She is our spy, along with Jack who you will meet soon. Jessica is 13. Alyssa our hacker and weird kid has laser eyes and can tell the future. Alyssa is ten. Lastly there is Jack, he's such a cutie. He can turn invisible and he has super sense. Helps us out a lot. Jack is eight years old. Youngest of the five of us. No one knows who we are. We wear our mission suits and we change out if our " normal looks." We all wear fake glasses and wear comfortable clothing. Our teachers think we has some kind of family problem or something that every time something happens during school they just wave us off and let us go. I'm a junior in high school. Anyway back to the real world.

" You guys did amazing!" We hear Jack say once we enter the living area. I feel something cling to my waist so I look down. Jack is there holding onto me tightly. For a eight year old he is pretty small. I chuckle and bring him up to carry him.

" Did you watch us again?" I ask. He can sense stuff and tell us through our earpieces. I don't know to explain this but if you've ever watched Lab Rats and seen Chase pull up something and touch it like it's a screen in the air? Yeah he can do that too. He can watch us like a hawk. Creepy I know but it helps us.

Our hideout is comfy. It's in the middle of the woods. I built it with Jessica and Uriah. Alyssa helped us by looking up how blueprints and all that. We built it in two days. It's durable. It has two floors much like a house. We all have our own rooms. We have a kitchen, a living area, a basement full of supplies. I have a office as well. We all have our own offices. That's all on the first floor. On the second floor we have a training room/gym. There is a secret wall in the gym to lead to the training room. We all work out and play sports amongst ourselves. We also cleared some space in the backyard. We like to go outside a lot.

Jack nods. " When are we all gonna go on a mission? I like to fight bad guys too Kylie!" He says. I laugh. Uriah smiles and Jessica snorts.

" If the next one isn't too dangerous we scan all go. Alright?" I say putting him down. He nods excitedly before turning back to the tv. We are on the news.
