Chapter 2~ Zodiac

Aquarius POV
I sighed as I took my seat in ELA. It was thw second day of school, and we had assigned seats now-- in Zodiac Order. That meant I was next to Capricorn and Pisces, two very respectable kids. Correction. One very respectable kid-- one very annoying kid.
I sighed, and ignored Pisces as I did my work quietly. He kept trying to interrupt me! I was doing my work!
At least Capricorn was doing her work too. That glorious kid-- always getting good scores and always doing so stupidly well in gym! I envy her sometimes. All the time.
AAARGH! I HATE my seat! Why couldn't I sit next to Gemini? She does her work quietly, and then pulls out a book and reads! More often she pulls out a sketchpad and draws, but my glorious friend Pisces can't seem to handle that!  He annoys EVERYONE around him, be it a boy a girl, even the kid in front of him-- I think he is gay for Virgo. Always flirting with the other boy.
It's so dumb, it distracts others from LEARNING in SCHOOL! Why cant they just flirt when they're NOT in school?!
At least I finished my work before this. Ugh.

Gemini POV
I frowned, as I looked around the room. I knew everyone's names, and had become friends with most of them too! Aquarius, she was being kind of mean recently but I'm sure there's a reason for that. I like my neighbors-- Taurus could be better but Cancer was awesome! We talked about Warriors by Erin Hunter, drew pictures, listed ed to music, it was great.
I found out that we don't change rooms here, the teachers do. Each teacher has a slightly different seating chart, but I'm always near Taurus and Cancer. Oh, and I'm in front of Sagittarius too. He's a cool kid.
I've noticed that many of the kids around school have become friends quickly. But us twelve, we aren't working as well. I mean, Taurus and Aquarius and I like to hang, sometimes we get Capricorn too. On other days I hang with Cancer and Leo. But I really just don't like Sagittarius or Pisces, and they hate me back most of the time.
Other times they're just being weird. And none of the other eleven are quite... right. I am a Gemini. I have a Gemini Twin. And i need to find him or her, whoever it is. Because I dont know how much longer I can hold off--  I've gone so long without people that having a sudden wave of them is hard. And I don't know how well I can handle it.

The bell rang, and I moved to my Science seat, still in rows of two but now I was near Aquarius and Capricorn.
Hey, they were cool. Aquarius was that girl I helped yesterday, Capricorn seemed nice. I spose I have to walk to her to find out, maybe I'll speak after school.
No, no talking.
NO TALKING. At all! Not EVER!
I closed my eyes, and when I opened them Ms Onto was there and making sure she had what was needed for Class. I smiled, and began to doodle a bit until she called Pisces out.

"No gum in science class!" She called out, and made Pisces get up to spit it out. Some kids in the class laughed as they realized that he had two pieces of gum in his mouth. When he reached his desk again, the boy stuck the second under his desk, adding to the grime that was already there.

I sighed, knowing that I couldn't change that but that I could keep it as blackmail. Written blackmail, of course.
But hey, Capricorn was trying to talk to me. I smiled, and then shook my head, pointing to my notebook. This was how people usually communicated with me; as I had put up the facade of being deaf.
I wrote down a few words, and passed the notebook to Capricorn.
Hi there, you're Capricorn right? Loyalty? Im Gemini, you probably knew that.

Capricorn POV
I was astonished. Passing notes in class? Unheard of! But this girl was impossibly quiet, so I supposed I must. I wrote down a quick note, and then passed it back, before paying attention to my work and Ms Onto instead.
