~SOPHIA'S POV~
I stepped onto the school grounds, waving at my friends and smiling at the Zodiacs. And then Gemini arrived.
It was the second month of school, and after all that time Gemini hadn't said a word. I had decided to talk to her instead.

I walked up to her, knowing full well that she would ignore me. But when j reached her, she turned around and smiled at me. Inwas confused, until I realized that this wasn't Gemini at all, it was her cousin Sam.

"Where's Gemini?" I asked, cocking my head to one side. And then she came out of the car.
I smiled at her, and helped her out into the light. She was wearing a regular T-shirt and jeans, with a hoodie. I opened my mouth, but one glare from Sam got me to shut it. And then open it again with more defiance and more passion.

"Gemini, I know you can hear me. I know you're not deaf. I know you're not mute. And I want you to know the truth. I didn't tease you on the first day of Kindergarten. I was out sick! That was my stupid cousin Sarah!" I exclaimed, assertively.

~GEMINI'S POV~
I stared.
No. I had falsely accused a friend, and never given them a second chance? No way. It was definitely Sophia, no doubts about it.
And then I thought back to it. And i realized that the girl I had seen laughing hadn't had the little cheek print we both had, nor did she have the dimples Sophia had.

I had falsely accused my friend.

I had broken my Zodiac.

I opened my mouth, and closed it, repeating this two ir three more times before I stopped.
"I'm so sorry. I didnt mean to hurt you..." I whispered, quietly.
Hey, my voice hadn't been used in years, cut me some slack! Its amazing I could talk at all! I stepped forward, and soon had Sophia in a big, laughing, crying hug.

Sophia just smiled at me. She took out her phone, and scrolled through the different songs on her playlist before she hit one, and handed me some earphones. She was already singing along.

🎶Say what you wanna say,
And let the words fall out
Honestly
I wanna see you be brave!🎶

It was that song Brave. Well, when I took the earphones out, she smiled at me.

"Go tell them that you can talk, please. Just speak to them."

She deserved it, honestly. She had put up with all my hatred and spite for years, and never actually forgotten me. She deserved to have this moment. I made sure we were in the grass before waving my classmates over. I wrote a bit on my pad, quietly.

I have something to show you, or something to tell you? Im not sure which fits in this case. Was the message, and they immediantly wrote down things like 'wait is it?' or 'Show us!'

"I can talk." I whispered. "And im not deaf."

Everyone was shocked, and then they started to apologize for all the mean things they had said about me

"I deserved those things, don't apologize. But c'mon, we need to get to our classroom. Why dont we drop off an old friend on the way?" I smiled, waving Sophia over so she could be included, and then walking into the building.

My life had rebegun.
