Chapter 21

~Ashton's POV~

After Megan fell asleep I started scrolling through Twitter. It broke my heart to see all this hate she was getting. I even went through her Twitter just to make sure she didn't say or do anything, but she didn't. She doesn't deserve this hate. I don't understand why the fans can't just accept it. We adopted her, end of story.

"Guys the planes landing in 5 minutes, you have to wake up Megan." Luke said from behind me.

"Ok." I said as I started to gently shake her to wake her up.

"Wha?" It was adorable to see her like this. (Not in a weird way.)

"The planes going to be landing, you gotta get up." I said and with that she sat up.

"Did I sleep the whole time?" She asked.

"Yes, yes you did sweetie." I told her giving a slight smile. She just looked out the window.

"We are now landing, please keep all cellular devices off." The voice over the speakers said.

"You ready to see LA Megan?" I asked excitedly.

"Yes! I can't wait, I have never left Australia before now." She smiled now looking at me. I love seeing her smile, it makes it ten times better to knowing that the boys and I are making it happen.

Once the plane landed I helped Megan get her bags from up above and I walked out of the plane with her. The boys were a little farther back, but we thought it would be better if me and Megan left first and met them at the car. I helped Megan grab her bags from baggage claim and then we walked to the car.

"Wait till you see the LA house." I smiled at her. 

"Thanks so much Ashton." She said pulling me in for a hug, I hugged back but then Luke opened the door.

"Did we interrupt a daddy daughter moment?" Calum asked as he hopped in the car.

"No it's fine Cal," Megan smiled at him, then he started to blush. "How long does it take to get there?"

"About and hour or so," I replied. Once I said that she grabbed her headphones and plugged them into her phone, and she just looked out the window.

"I can't wait to show her around the LA house!" Luke cheered.

"I wanted to," Michael mumbled.

"Speaking of you and her Michael-"

"Ashton I swear nothing happened." Mikey spoke.

"That's not what I was going to say Michael." I said to him.

"Oh.." He looked embarrassed.

"I was going to ask what you were going to help Megan with." I said hoping he would tell me.

"Oh yeah! I forgot about that." He perked up.

"Can you tell us what Michael?" Calum asked.

"Nope, she wants it to be a surprise." He grinned. I swear I will murder him if she is getting a tattoo or something.

~Megan's POV~

we hit a bump in the road and I woke up. I just laid there for a moment taking everything in. At the moment, my life was amazing. It couldn't be better. I sat up and made Calum jump and the rest of the boys laugh.

"You get scared a lot?" I ask Calum jokingly.

"Ha ha." I said sarcastically.

"WERE HERE!" Luke yelled. When we got out of the car I just stood there in awe. How? I mean I know they are famous but still this thing must cost a fortune.

"You coming?" Michael asked standing by me.

"Yeah, I was a just uh-"

"Looking at it?" He finished me sentence.

"Yeah." And with that we walked in the house. It was amazing. When you walk in the first thing you see is the living room and to your right is s giant kitchen. I was still focused on the living room though, there was a giant light on the ceiling hanging down above the living room. Just outside of the living room there is a huge spiral staircase and at the top is we're all the rooms are. I think the boys said there is a total of 4 rooms upstairs and a guest bedroom downstairs. They also told me I can sleep with one of them upstairs or sleep in the spare room, but I will stay with one of them.

"So Megan, what do you think?" Ash asked walking up behind me.

"It's amazing." I said.

"Did you decide where you are staying?" Ashton asked.

"Uh yeah, with one of you guys." I spoke, "if that ok with you." I rushed out the last part.

"Of course it is sweetie, if it wasn't we wouldn't have gave you that option." Ash smiled at me.

"Could I stay with you? Or Calum?" I asked.

"Sure, it's your choice." He said as he made his way to the couch.

"Ok," I smiled and walked to the kitchen to see the rest of the boys.

"Hey Megan you decide where your sleeping yet?" Luke asked.

"Uh yeah, I'm going to stay with Ashton or Calum." I said with a smile, but Luke's face dropped. "What's wrong Luke?"

"Nothing I have to go." And then Luke stormed out, and up to his room. What got into him?
