Chapter 8:

I say next to Carl in pure shock.

What just happened?

Daryl approaches me and carl and takes his hand out for us to grab it, "come on guys, get up." Daryl says

Neither of us take his hand.

Carl takes a glance at me with tears in his eyes and whispers "im so sorry"

I wasn't mad at Carl, I wasn't mad at anyone i just wanted to get out of this prison, everyone here is like a freak to me, so much fucking problems.

After another 5 minutes i finally get up and look around at everyone still staring at us... I laugh, "can. You. Stop. Staring. At. Us?!" I say gritting my teeth from anger.

"Why should we?" Beth said surprised

"Um hmmm let me think" I say in sarcasm "maybe because its rude." I say.

"It's not rude when first carl runs off and looses his virginity then, you too run off to go on a little 'adventure' and almost get your asses bitten off." Beth says annoyed.

"GUYS ENOUGH!" Daryl says getting mad.

"NO THEY'RE OUT OF CONTROL!" Beth says kinda yelling

"Were in control beth, mind your business" carl says gritting his teeth with anger.

"Be quite carl, ALL OF YOU ENOUGH!" Glenn shouts

"It's not there fault I was an out of control teen to." Maggie says

"But not this much!" Michonne says

"Actually I was much worse, I lost my virginity, did drugs, and drank." Maggie confeses

"Carl did those stuff two, but at a younger age." Hershel says

"YEAH BECAUSE HE HAS TO LIVE IN THIS WORLD! STOP PICKING ON THEM!" Maggie yells.

"DONT DEFEND HIM!" Hershel says.

"But I agree with maggie he has to live through this world and it could get tough. He had to see his mom die"

"Could all of you shut up, please!" Carl says madly.

"I think you should talk to your dad carl..." Carol says.

"No." Carl says madly

Carl gets up and goes to his cell after that.

"Everyone just go back to sleep!" Daryl says, "forget this every happend."

with that everyone goes back to there cell. Except me...

I just sit at a table and cry quietly.

It felt good to cry and let everything out, it really does.

I was crying for quiet a while until, I hear someone clear there throat behind me.

I turn around quickly and see carl standing there looking at me with sadness in his eyes.

When our eyes meet, he walks over to me and kisses me. Right when our lips meet I feel a feeling so right it almost takes over my body.

I kiss back not wanting to let go, so I don't and neither does he.

We kiss for what seems like 1 minute but it was actually 5 minutes, Dang.

I finally pull away and wipe his hair off his face.

"I love you so much..."Carl whispers.

"I love you too" i whisper back.

"Im gonna go back to sleep" I say cupping his cheek, as I walk back to our cell i hear Adam whisper to me from his cell "try to kiss a little quieter"

I stop look back at him and say: "you should shut up"

With that, I walk to myself and fall into a deep sleep that is full of nightmares and happiness which really confused me...

When I wake up I feel this weird feeling in my gut that something bad happened.

"CARL?!" I yell worriedly.

"Yeah?" Carl says groggily, obvious he just woke up.

"Never mind" I say panting still having that feeling in my gut.

"You sure?" He asks looking up at me smirking.

"Yeah" I say giving him a smile calming down

"Alright then" he says chuckling and getting up.

"Someone's in a bubbly mood." I say laughing and getting up with him.

"Im just happy we kissed last night... That's all" he says blush and looking down.

When he says that I walk up to him and give him another kiss.

"So what are we gonna do today?" I ask sadly

"I don't know but we cant leave the prison." He says

"Wow this really is a prison" i say laughing

"Yeah we cant even leave!" He chuckles

I laugh with him until Adam comes to our cell door,

"Hey guys" he says happily

"Hi..." We both say

"I was gonna ask you guys to come with me on a run but... Never mind" Adam says laughing

Carl looked mad when he said that I had to hold carl back from punching him. Carls fists were in a ball and it was so tight his vain was showing.

"Watch your mouth!" Carl says.

"Or what?" Adam says.

"Just shut up Adam, go away!" I say getting annoyed.

"You know Kayla... What do you see in him?" Adam says laughing

"A lot more then I see in you, that's for sure." I say in annoyance

"Yeah whatever" Adam says and walks off.

I let go of carl because he seems calm now.

"Carl don't let him get to you! He's not worth it trust me."

"You're right, I have you and he doesn't" he says giving me a little kiss.
