Masquerade Dance Party ~ a Miraculous Ladybug one-shot

Part 5

Adrien

I had finally managed to get rid of Chloe by hiding in the mens toilets. She didn't know I was in here, thankfully, but things wouldn't stay that way for long.

"Plagg, if we transform now, I can walk out of here and Chloe won't know it's me," I whispered, wary of Chloe hearing me.

"Good idea, I don't like that crazy woman," replied Plagg from my jacket pocket.

"Plagg, claws out!" I said as loudly as I dared.

Chloe

Adrien had been in the toilet for way too long to be "freshening up" so I knocked on the door to hurry him up. "Adrikins! Are you in there?" I got no reply. I was about to do it again when the door opened and Chat Noir came out.

"Excuse me," I said. When he ignored me, I stamped on his tail to stop him from going anywhere. "Excuse me, was there anyone else in there?"

"No, I was the only one."

I pouted before lifting my foot. Chat Noir walked away towards the main dance floor.

So Adrien wasn't in the toilets. Maybe he doesn't like me. Yeah, right, everyone adores me!

Ladybug

I wandered out to the main dance floor. I guess now that I was transformed, I should head for the princess and major Bourgeois.

"Would you honour me with a dance, m'lady?"

I spun around to find Chat bowing slightly and holding out his hand. A little fun wouldn't hurt, right? I took his hand and he led me to the centre of the dance floor.

"I was hoping to see you tonight," he said.

"Well, I was invited specially."

"I wasn't, I just couldn't pass up the chance to dance with you."

I suddenly felt his hands creeping down from  my waist. I replaced them back at my waist and told him not to do it again. He didn't have a chance, however, as we were interrupted by the major calling me up to meet the princess.
