"How's Tom been?"
"Not bad, not bad. He doesn't like scales, but no one likes playing scales. I hated them. And sight reading."
"Think he'll pass? I thought he sounded very… unfamiliar with the music."
"That's just how it goes. Rests everywhere."
"You want to move over to Ireland with me?"
"I wouldn't mind, I'd prefer not to just yet… why?"
"We can live with my family."
"I've got Tom's case to follow. I've got other cases too, but that's my main one. And I've got to teach him as well. I can't just leave him to someone else, I don't know anyone else around here who teaches."
"Yeah, of course, I mean like, over the holidays. That sort of thing."
"Maybe if they close Tom's case later I can move over. But I'm established here. I don't know if I really want to leave everything here for Ireland."
"It's fine, maybe later."
"The problem is, I probably can't work with my current qualifications over in Ireland. I don't want to have to get trained again. I could get an Irish passport and join the army, but you wouldn't want that. That's the problem with moving over. I start over again with my university stuff, that costs money. I'm familiar with England. I have friends here and I'm not going to see them very often if I move."
"Well… you'll marry me, right?"
"I'd hope so… for all I care you could randomly marry someone and not know what happened. That's what Louis said."
"That was years ago."
"Some things never change. They still don't like me. They can gate crash Greg's they can turn up at yours. They left Zayn alone, but they're going to do Louis and El's. No doubt about yours, I bet the Americans are going to turn up."
"Then we won't tell them when or where. There has to be a way around it."
"You were pretty quiet about Greg's. I didn't hear much but people found the wedding. You don't need to tell them, none of us have to tell them, they know when you're off and their street team goes around looking. Ireland, Yorkshire, doesn't matter."
"Oh yeah, you aren't Christian are you?"
"No."
"Didn't think so."
"Why? Are there actually issues with that?"
"Well you'd be non-baptised so that's a dispensation… anyone you'd think would come from your side of things?"
"I don't know how many would actually come from Canada, Australia and Hong Kong. I don't think the Australian cousins are religious either. Or maybe they are… I can't remember. I just hope dad doesn’t invite his high school friends along as well. They're probably going to say something really awkward."
"There's a lot of stuff."
"Can you not pull a Tom Fletcher?"
"Why? What'd he do?"
"Not much, just casually mention Danny thought eggs were vegetables. And that he knows how to swear in Italian."
"You watched that video?"
"I just managed to come across it on Youtube. But yeah, I thought Zayn was going to do that, I didn't think he'd be up for the whole yakking away thing."
"So. Think about moving to Ireland."
"Look, it's part of my job, I'm stuck here in London for who knows how long. You have tour going on constantly and I'm stuck over here. I've got a million cases going on and most of them don't want to change handlers. There's no point in doing that just yet. I can quit my job and work as a piano and clarinet teacher, but I still have to finish off Tom on piano. And he needs an accompanist."
