Almost silent scribbles were audible all over the library, from dozens of quills all in the right or left hand of a different owner. There were many different colours and sizes, there were small black once, gih white once. One girl was even holding a huge blue one. Draco's eyes weren't stuck on that one through they were stuck on the small grey feather that was in a slightly toned masculine right hand. The left hand that belonged to the same owner was balled in a fist on his roll of parchment. Little white lines of an old scar where visible all over the hand. If Draco would be sitting closer, he would be able to see that the scars spelled out the words 'I must not tell lies. The words that were scratched in there by the woman that had given Draco enough power to rule over all other students. A power he never wanted, even then he didn't want it although he still was a jerk back then.

The war had changed Draco al ot. It learned him seeing good and evil, it learned him to choose his own friends, not the friends his parents chose for him. It showed him that al looks the way paved and ready to walk you can still decide to take a different track. Most of all he learned to stand up for himself.

Now he was lovingly watching his boyfriend of two months doing his potions homework. Later that evening he had planned a surprise date for them but for now he was content just watching his handsome boyfriend writing with his light grey quill.
