They say if you're meant to be together then you'll find each other again. That you'll work things out. The thing is, if it's not mean to be, then why does it hurt so much.
It was my fault we ended. It was my fault that we didn't last like I said we would, like I wanted to. It was all my idiotic fault because I did something I will always regret. Something That I thought would be fun but for that, I lost her, forever.

I was bored and feeling lonely, my girlfriend Lucy, was out with her friends for their birthday. Of coarse my friends were on a gap year after finishing year 12 so I was home alone for the night. My whole life revolved around her, I did everything for her.

I was left home alone, plonked on the coach watching TV when I received the text that started it all off. The three word appeared luminous on my phone.
"I miss you'" - Amy
Amy was my ex, she was a sweet girl but things didn't feel right and she was a rebound. The feelings faded very quickly for me but not for her, she was hurt when we broke up. Every now and again she would message me, saying that she missed us or she wanted to give us another shot. I didn't reply, I never did.
