"So...do you have like...a broom?" I busted out laughing at Clint's random question. We had just my put into the system, official had my I.D, and we were now on our way to hitch a ride to Nevada.
"Yes, I have a flying broom," I told him. His eyes widened at my answer as he continued to stare at me.
"Really," he asked, "You're a legit witch?"
"Yes, we have flying brooms," I said, "and wands."
"Where do you keep all this stuff," he asked, "You've got one large luggage bag but I don't see you shoving a broom inside it." I held up a small, velvet pouch in his view.
"Most of my belongings are in here...except for my owl," I told him as I dangled the small bag in front of him.
He looked past the bag to look at me, "You have an owl?"
I nodded, "Barn owl. His name is Jareth."
"Jareth?"
"Like the goblin king," I said with a wink. The answer caused Clint to crack a smile and let out a laugh. The car pulled up on to a small runway where a jet waited. The driver opened the door for us to let us out. I took the moment to stretch out my body, popping my back before walking to the trunk to grab my bag.
"So where's your owl," asked Clint as he reached for his bag.
"He's in England," I replied, "I had him send a letter to my mentor."
"Witch's can have mentors," he asked. I laughed, rolling my eyes at my response.
"Oh Clint, it's a whole other world," I said, turning to walk over to the jet.

"You eat chocolate frogs?"
"They're a lot better than they sound," I argued, "Plus, I got my face on one of the Wizard Trading cards after I won the Tri-Wizard Tournament!"
"It's a moving frog," Clint reasoned, his face held a hint of disgust.
"I'm going to have to make a trip to Honeydukes to pick some treats up for ya," I said with a laugh, "you no-majs are missing out!"
"No-maj," he asked.
"Basically a way of saying you don't have magic," I answered, "We say no-maj here while over in England, they say muggles." Clint shook his head, rubbing his eyes as he let out a sigh.
"This is a whole new ball field," he mumbled. I gave him a nod and a quick pat on the back.
"Try living in it," I laughed. The familiar feeling of the jet descending to the ground took over. Not long after, the captain informed us to buckle up for landing. The thought that I was going to start my job was enough to make my bounce in my seat! And the fact that I had someone to talk about the wizarding world with was even better!
"So who all knows about me being a witch," I asked.
"Natasha Romanov, a few of the head honchos, Dr. Selvig, and should the occasion call for it, the Avengers," he answered. The jet bounced as the landing gear made contact with the ground below.
"The Avengers," I asked.
"Basically a team put together to take on any disaster that would be considered a threat to Earth," he answered, "With you being a witch, and one with your skillset, you'd more than likely be added to the team."
