"I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT HE HAD THE NERVE TO FIRE ME, A PROUD GENERAL OF JAPAN'S MIGHTY AIR FORCE. I WHO HAVE SHED BLOOD, SWEAT, AND TEARS FOR HIS COUNTRY. I WHO GAVE ALL HE HAD TO TRY TO GET JAPAN TO RULE SUPREME. AND NOT ONLY THAT HE HAD THE NERVE TO INSULT MY IDEAS."

----Flashback----

(the general's POV)

"I can't wait to tell the prime minister the good news and once he gives the word we will take out our enemy...forever" and a smile started to form on "sir" my face just by thinking "sir" about it. "SIR"

"A-a y-yes AHEM, I mean yes what is it lieutenant"

"We have arrived sir"

"Well it looks like we did indeed arrive. Well thanks for taking me here lieutenant, you may leave"

"yes sir"

Finally, out of my shocked state I regained my posture, took a deep breath and opened the doors leading to my destiny.

(general's POV)

I entered the room and was looking around to see if the prime minister arrived and I noticed that he had changed the paintings since the last time I was here. "I wonder why he replaced the— "ahem"

Startled by the sudden noise I looked up and saw the prime minister staring at me and laughing at my reaction. Realizing that I was standing I quickly got on one knee and bowed my head.

"I-I-I am very sorry sir I just got distracted while waiting for you and then I didn't even notice when you entered the room and – "

"General it is fine" laughed the prime minister "but what were you looking at so intensely"

"Oh, um sir I was just wondering why you changed the paintings in this room. I mean if you do not mind me asking"

"It is not a problem general, and the reason was because I thought these ones make the room more.... approachable, I guess. "I wonder what he means by that" Anyway what is your report general. "Well it doesn't matter I just need to focus on the task at hand."

"Yes sir, my report is that our intelligence has uncovered some valuable information on some of the other countries" I told him.

"WHAT? ARE THEY PLANNING TO START ANOUTHER WAR WITH US?" he shouted "I wonder why he is so flustered" "AHEM, I mean they shouldn't think that they can win against us again; we are ready for them this time around."

"Actually sir" I started" it is the exact opposite of what you think"

"What do you mean general?"

"I mean that they are on peaceful times and let their guard down, so I was thinking that this was the perfect time to strike them down. Then after they are gone they will be no one able to stop our ambition"

"General..."

"Also we have collected more than enough people and money that our success in this battle is assured." "All we need is your approval and then we will be able to take over the world".

"And general, to get money did you raise taxes"

"Yes, sir"

"And did you use words to convince men to join your blood slaughter"

"Y-yes, sir" "where was he going with this?"

The prime minister then turned is back and asked,

"General can you answer a question for me?"

"Sure what is it sir?" "I wonder what he wants to know?"

"what is this ambition that you speak of?"

"Oh that is easy, my ambition is to be the strongest and have no one capable of beating me"

"I see if that is the case then there is no reason for you to be in the military"

"W-what are you saying sir" "is he firing me, no he is probably just trying to be funny" but even I was having my doubts.

"I am saying your ambition is not suited for this line of work. So maybe you should go somewhere else, in order to find it" at this point my mind was sure he was firing me, but I had to make sure I was right.

"A-are you firing me, sir" "please say no, please say no". The next thing he said was the worst thing I have ever heard in my life.

"Yes I am"

"If you don't mind me asking why?"

"I already told you I don't think this is the job for you, especially in this era of peace. I am very sorry general; I wish you good luck"

"Thank you but it is just Sensō now, good bye"

Realizing that his dream won't be accomplished here; he once again opens the doors, except they are leading to a different destiny then the one he wanted.

--End of Flashback--

*sigh* "I guess all I can do is head over to my parent's house, but I doubt they will even let me in"" man".

contempt with his new life he looked up too see where he was, and he realized that he didn't know! "where am I"

I try looking around for a sign or someone to ask but all I saw was a shrine. Hoping someone was there I started heading up the steps. However, I could barely see what was around me because it was so dark. So I began walking around trying to find somebody here when suddenly I hear a crash. Determined I headed over to the origin of the sound which seemed to be an old shed. I started to slide the door open and headed down the stairs. When I was at the bottom of the stairs I saw that ahead of me was a well. It looked old and kind of mysterious, so I stepped closer to it in order to look inside.

"Why is this the only thing in the shed?" I wondered" well whatever the reason I should probably shouldn't be in here"

(Kagome's mom POV)

I am throwing out the trash when I thought I heard something from the shed. Thinking it was Kagome I headed over and called out her name.

"Kagome?"

(Sensō's POV)

"Kagome?"

Startled I look behind me but I tripped over my own feet and fell.

Except I didn't hit the ground

And all I saw was a bright purple light.
