Chapter 6- She loves me!?!

Inuyasha's POV
"Man! This is going to be harder than I thought" I got up for the 60th time, I think. I mean I have been knocked out so much my memory is a little hazy. I got up again and climbed up to the top of the well. As I was about to try again, an annoying voice stop me mid-way.
"What do ye think your doing, Inuyasha?"
"Oy, shut it hag!"
"I heard about what happened to ye from Sango".
"Yeah, and?"
"While it is commendable for ye to be trying so hard, ye got to take a break. Kagome will still be there if ye take a short break, she will understand."
"I KNOW SHE DOES ALREADY OLD HAG!!!" I felt the tears beginning to slip pass my eyes, but I couldn't stop, not now."She always understands. She understands when I go to see Kiyo. She understands when I need to be left alone. She also understands what I needed, people I could trust. She has done more for me then I frankly deserve. I mean I am the one who can't choose between them, and she even understands that. And have I ever understood her, or even tried." By this point I knew that tears were steaming down my face, but I didn't care. I need some sort of comfort, and to do that I need to show some weakness in me. Which is another thing Kagome taught me to do.
Once I was done I saw Kaede's surprised face looking at me.
"What now old hag?"
Kaede's POV
I couldn't believe what I was hearing! Inuyasha..was..sorry!? I never thought he would say he did something wrong. "This must be Kagome's doing. Which means Inuyasha is still as dumb as he ever was. Guess I gotta tell him."
"What now old hag?"
"Inuyasha I have gotta to say, ye are more stupider than I thought."
"What are you talking about?"
"Kagome has done all of that and more for ye. She even helped ye when your demon side was taking over. Even though her personal safety was at risk."
"Yeah, and?"
"*sigh, and ye are still deciding which woman ye would choose! I mean I love my sister, but that doll is most certainly not my sister. And even then, did she truly fall in love with all of ye?"
"Yes.... Maybe... Well um, I don't know."
"*sigh, The answer is no, she did not! She said she would only be with ye if ye were all human. But on the other hand, Kagome has accepted and loved all of you."
"What do you mean loved?"
"*sigh. And now you know why I called ye an idiot, because Inuyasha, she is in love with you!"
Inuyasha's POV
"because Inuyasha, she is in love with you!"
What she's in love with me?!
"W-what are you talking about Kaede?"
"Haven't ye ever wonder why she puts up with Kikyo? Or why she even comes to this world when she has a life in another?"

--flashback--
I had just stuffed the tree I was holding into the head wolf's mouth. It knocked him right out, as well as destroying all of his minions. I start to come down when I saw Kagome at the top of the well.
"What is she doing here? Its dangerous and not even her own time!"
As I touch down, she starts climbing out of the well. When she finally gets out she starts walking toward me,
"Inuyasha."
"What are you doing here?! I told you to stay away, huh?"
She began running towards me and pulled me into a hug.
"Inuyasha."
"Huh? Why is she hugging me? And why do I suddenly start smelling traces of salt?"
"I was sure you died of your injuries! 'Cause you didn't come back for me this time!"
"You should have listened, I told you never to return!" She began to pull out of the hug in order to look into my eyes.
"I know but, I had to come back! I had to see you again!"
"She needed to see me?! Kagome...."

"She...does...love..me." I started to feel the tears start up again, but this time not from sadness!
"SHE LOVES ME!" I was so happy! 'Cause without realizing it, it seems that I fell in love with her too!
"HAHAHA"
"What are you laughing at old hag?", my happiness still showing on my face.
"Just that it seems that ye finally made up your mind on who ye have chosen."
"Yeah, I guess I have..."
