Hey, hope everyone had a good holiday! I certainly did😆👍 anyway, on with the story....
____________
Kagome's POV
It has now been 3 days since I been back, and honestly, I miss it. I miss fighting demons along side Shippo, Sango, Miroku, and, yes, even Inuyasha. I felt some tears starting to form in my eyes, so I quickly wiped them away. "I already told you, he *hick is not worth *hick it". But I couldn't help it, I miss him. I miss his smile, his arrogate attitude, and pretty much everything else about him. And I realized then that I loved him, just before everything turned black.
Inuyasha's POV
I was eating some of Sango's cooking in Kaede's hut with the others. They insisted I get my energy back up before trying to get Kagome again. I didn't disagree, mostly because I couldn't. But I was in a hurry to set things right with Kagome, so I was eating like there was no tomorrow. And as I was nearing the bottom, I started to smell Naraku. Once I registered the scent I was out of the hut as fast as I could run. While running I realized that I was nearing the bone eaters well. My pace increased, more than it ever had before. When I got there, the smell completely disappeared. "Could he have gone to Kagome's world?!" I wasn't taking any chance, and jumped through the well as fast as I could.
Sensō's POV
"Whew that was close! He almost saw me, that must be some nose he has in order to smell me from so far away. Though he seemed faster than what Naraku told me about him. I guess that means that this girl here is really something special to him. Which means that we have the advantage in this fight."
Kagome's Mom's POV
"I wonder if Kagome went back to the Feudal area. I haven't seen her since she came home from school. I mean this isn't the first time she has gone back without telling me, but a mother has to make sure. Also this time she seemed to be sad and distant when she came back. Not to mention, every time I asked her how long she was staying, she would just look away and shrug. Making me think that she had another fight with Inuyasha, and how do I know they fight? Weeelllll, lets just say mother's intuition."
I was washing the dishes from dinner when I heard a crash come from the shed. "Maybe it is Kagome? And I know what you are thinking, that was what you said last time you heard a crash. I am well away of that, but, as I have said before, a other has to make sure." So I turn off the sink, dry my hands off, and exited through the door.
It was pretty dark out, but the lights from the street lit my path up decently well. Making it easy to get to the shed where the well is located. Once there I began to open the doors, but froze when I saw a black figure at the bottom of the well."Maybe it is a bugler!" Panicking, I reached for what every weapon was near me, in this case a shovel. I slowly tipped toed down the stairs, ready to hit the intruder with the shovel. However, I stopped when a beam of moonlight lit up the figure, revealing a red cloth.
"Inuyasha?!"
Inuyasha's POV
"What happened? Where am I?" I slowly opened my eyes, blinded by the light that was above me. After adjusting to the new brightness, I began to sit up and look around. Not long after, I realized I was in Kagome's living room. "How did I get here?"
"Oh, Inuyasha, it seems you are awake. How are you feeling".
"Fine but-" my nose picks up a smell coming from the bowl in her hands," is that ramen!!!"
"Yeah, I remember how Kagome said this was your favorite food ever!"
"Yeah, it is. Speaking of which, where is Kagome? Is she still mad at me?"
"Oh, so she was upset at you! Now it makes sense why she was so down ever since she got back". "So she was really upset, I mean I knew, but it still hurts. Man! I so wish she came out of hiding so I could just apologize already!"
"Hey Inuyasha?"
"Y-yeah?" "What if she gets angry that I broke her daughter's heart! And if she is as scary as Kagome....then I am dead, utterly dead."
"So, that means you haven't seen Kagome in a while?"
"Yeah, why?""Where is she going with this?Wait, does that mean...?"
"I see..." I looked at her, confusion in my eyes. Only to be greeted with a tear stricken face.
"Um, why are you crying? Wait! does this have something to do with Kagome!?" "Please let her say no, please."
"Yes, it does. I haven't seen Kagome at all since she went to school this morning. I just figured she made up with you and went back. But as you just told me..." I didn't hear the rest of what she was saying, I didn't want to."What happened to Kagome?! Was she kidnapped by Naraku? Na, that is impossible. I mean how would he even be able..." His scent, I smell his scent, here. I take a bigger whiff of the air surrounding the well, and, yes, it is his. But it is mixed with another scent that I don't recognize."Don't tell me Naraku found someone that can come here, and then had him kidnap Kagome!? Dammit! This is all my fault! If only I didn't take that break. If only I had payed attention to her instead of looking for Kikyo. If only I I wasn't always such a jerk to her......Don't worry Kagome, I will save you. And then I will tell you just how much you mean to me. So please, stay safe".
