A Present for the Past

Chapter 2- Endless Tears

(Kagome's POV)
I jumped through the well and felt the familiar purple light wash over me. Then as the light disappeared and I started appearing in my home in my OWN time. "Where there is no Naraku, no fights, and especially NO INUYASHA". Just thinking his name gets me worked up and makes me want to hit something, so I did. And I just kept hitting the same wall on the well until I start noticing that my knuckles were bleeding. Completely wiped, I just start climbing the well. When I was at the top I felt something on my hand, it was a tear. I quickly put my hand up to my eyes just to find them full of tears. I tried to stop them, I tried to convince myself that he wasn't worth it, but my body wasn't listening. So there I sat in my family's shed alone, crying over a guy I knew would never love me.

(Inuyasha's POV)
It took me longer than I would have expected to get back to camp."Guess I traveled farther than I thou-""gggrrrrr"." It also seems that I am hungrier than I thought too".

When I landed I start to try to find Kagome's scent so that she can make me something to eat. Because in all honesty any food made by her is my favorite, but will I ever tell her that, no. But my hungry face quickly turned into one of worry. "Kagome's scent is starting to fade". I rushed back as fast as I could and yelled
"Sango where is Kagome?"
She simply turned towards me with the same face she has when Miroku womanizes. But even then it is not as scary as Kagome's, when she angry. Then she simply said "not here".
"Well obviously she's not here, but where specifically is she" I am getting really annoyed now, why won't she just tell me.
"Anywhere where you aren't".
"Why would she want to be away from me?" All of a sudden she burst out in flames.
"YOU REALLY ARE DENSE INUYASHA, you simply left her there alone. And top of that you didn't even let her finish". I just stood there shocked not able to do anything else." Why would that make her run off, I mean I have done it to her bef-" I didn't even want to finish that thought. Feeling tears I simply muttered be back later to Sango and began to run. I don't know where, the only place that has felt like home was Kagome.
But I caused her to leave,
For good this time.
And I just couldn't hold in the tears in any longer.
