Chapter 5- A Dangerous Partnership

Sensō's POV
I was walking around to see where the villages are and to see how the land is different than in my time. But a huge gust of wind stopes me. It was so strong that it sent me flying into a nearby tree, and knocked me out. And as I was closing my eyes, the last thing I saw was a woman walking towards me, with a fan in her hands.
Inuyasha's POV
I woke up, kind of groggy. I stumbled up to my feet very shakily. "Ugh, what happened and what is with this headache? It's killing me." But then I remember why,

I jump into the well before I have a chance to back out. I am engulfed by the light and transported to Kagome's time. I start to jump out of the well when I smelled some strong spices. It immediately knocks me out and I fall back into the well, away from Kagome.

My eyes start watering again, I tried to hold it but it kept coming. I mean how would you feel if you cause someone a lot of pain. So much pain that they have a plan to keep you away while they cry alone. With no one to support them or care for them, all because you were a jerk. Well if you haven't it don't try to because it feels terrible. It's like every ounce of your being is depressed and you don't feel like doing anything. You just want to stop doing anything except wallow in your pity. And even that doesn't fully describe my emotions right now. But I know that Kagome is in much, much, much more than I am right now. And that thought alone gives me the strength to climb the well again to jump through, once more. All so that I can apologize to Kagome.
Sensō's POV
I slowly open my eyes to see a very darkly lit room. I turn my head toward the window to see if I could find a clue to where I was. But all I saw was a thick purple sky that occasionally swirled around.
"What is that?" I asked without expecting an answer, but I still got one.
"It's my force field of miasma, it keeps me from being found by my enemies."
"That seems convenient"
"It is but it's been found a couple of times, so sometimes I have to relocate".
"You must have some powerful enemies".
"Yeah but there mostly persistent, especially that half-breed Inuyasha". I am now more confused than ever. I don't know where I am, who I am talking with, or what a half-breed was. "Does he mean a half American, half Japanese child? But I thought that immigrants didn't exist yet in the feudal era." And apparently I was so lost in thought that I let it show how lost I was.
"What are you thinking about?" I looked up immediately to see that he was amused.
"Oh! W-well I was just wondering what a half-breed was. Are they part American? Chinese? What?" After I finished he started to look down and shake. "Did I upset him?" Nope, as he brought up his face I saw that he was laughing?! He was laughing so hard the baboon pelt on his head fell off! "Why is he laughing this hard? Was what I said really that funny?" I started to hear the laughing die down and that's when he began the jokes.
"I didn't know you are a comedian?"
"I'm not but can we get to the matter of hand here, why did you bring me here?"
"Oh! Well because I liked the look in your eyes".
"My eyes?! and were you spying on me?" "If he was then why didn't I sense him? Nothing is making sense right now."
"Yes your eyes, and yes I was spying on you".
"Then why-"
"Didn't you sense me? That's simple I was looking at you through one of my dolls. It's made up of clay and dirt so it wouldn't rose up your suspicions if it came near. The only way you can notice it is if you are a demon with a strong nose." "Demons?! Wait! If I remember correctly I heard plenty of stories about demons in the feudal era. But I thought they were just that, stories."
"Now I want to see what you got." "Got for what?"
"Kagara come here, now uh-"
"Sensō"
"Right, Sensō if you can defeat Kagara here then you can become one of allies."
"What happens if I don't?"
"Well let's just say I can't have you blabbing anything, now can I". "I like how he thinks."
"Ready, begin!" As soon as I heard the n I felt a change in the wind. I dogged just I time to miss a wind blade? "I guess she is a demon too. With the power of wind. *smirk* then this is going to be a piece of cake". She kept swinging blade after blade as I kept dogging each one of them. Then in the millisecond she moved back to keep me at a distance, I launched my attack.
Naraku's POV
I began the race and quickly moved out of the way. I saw him dodge the first blow by Kagara, barely. Then he just kept on dodging and dodging. "Is he ever going to attack?" I was thinking that maybe I made a wrong choice when I saw him smirk. It was for barely a second before he went back to dodging. "Was that just my imagination? And is it just me or is he getting faster?"And he was. With each step he moved out of the way and it also looked he knew where it was going before she even launched an attack. This was getting interesting but when is he going to go on the offensive? Then as Kagara backed up in order to gain ground, he moved and launched something. It look like a splinter of wood so how much damage can it do? Apparently a lot because as soon as she got hit she began to wobble and eventually fall on the ground. I stood there dumbstruck, "he is better than I could ever imagine!"
"Hey baboon dude, I have two questions for you before I join."
"The name is Naraku and what is it?"
"What do you want to do?"
"Get the Shikon Jewel and use it to rule Japan."
"Okay, and are you allies with the government?"
"No, I want to obliterate them." "But why would he care?"
"Perfect, then we have ourselves a partnership".
