(Perry's POV)
"Phew! Done." I said as I wipe my forehead with my arm. I began to clean up my cleaning materials and walked out of the now sparkling clean room. Well. . . barely sparkling.
Today was the day that the day the visitors from America will be coming here in Cairnholm. I just hope they're civilized people, other wise I'll be cleaning a dirty suite by possibly ignorant pigs.
I went downstairs and told Kev that I was done with the room. And asked him what else I should do, other than take a nap in one of the rooms of the Priest Hole. He lets me sometimes.
"Well since you've worked hard this morning, go on and take a break. There's nothing left here for you to do anyway." He says and went back to cleaning the empty mugs that the fellas had drunken out off.
"Alright then, see ya soon." I said and took of my apron and pick up my satchel from behind the bar.
I was about to open the door until Kev said. "Oh! Perry I almost forgot something, I need you to pass by the fishmonger and buy two pounds of salmon. We run out since yesterday." He stated as he hand me some money.
"Do you need it now?" I asked.
"Uh . . well no but-"
"Then I'll buy them later in the afternoon, does that sound good? Good! OK then, bye!" I said quickly so that Kev doesn't finish his demand and bolted out of the Priest Hole.
"Perry!" I heard Kev calling but ignored him as I laughed and run down on the road.

To say the truth, I was a little nervous about the strangers visiting here in Cairnholm. They could wights for all I knew. Nana and I had discussed this yesterday, if the visitors from America could possibly wights.
A few years ago, before my grandfather and dad were. . . deceased. They given me a few tips on how to tell if you spotted a wight in crowd, a store, and a mall.
Even though the nearest mall is four-hundred-and-fifteen miles away from Cairnholm.
Anyway, here are the three tips of wight suspicion.
If they're wearing sunglasses in a cloudy day or at night. They're suspicious.
If you catch someone eating something raw and uncooked meat. They're suspicious.
And last, but not least. If in anyway circumstances, that you catch a friend, a neighbor or a family member, doing or saying something out of they're nature. Ask them a simple question only they would know how to answer.
If they got it right, they're them.
But if they got it wrong, don't hesitate to shoot a bullet in they're head.
Grandfather's words, not mine.
My mother and I had also had a chat about this before I went to bed yesterday. We sat on the kitchen table and talked about the strangers that'll be coming tomorrow which is today.
She even tried to talked me to not go to work for at least a month 'til the travellers leave. But I insisted that I needed to see them myself so that I could warn Nana and the children.
It took me at least half the night to convince her to say yes. I gave her a long comforting hug and whispered of how much I love her and thanked her for protecting me.
We decided to sleep in the living room for comfort. For her mostly.
I sighed from last night and headed to the route that lead straight to my house. I arrived no less than twelve minutes and unlocked the front door.
