I watch myself kiss Kyle on the lips and whisper, "Thy lips are warm" on the screen. Then, Jacob, Kyle's friend, appears as one of the watchmen, in search for Romeo and Juliet.
"Yea, noise? then I'll be brief. O happy dagger!" I took the dagger that was tucked into Kyle's belt. "This is thy sheath." I stabbed myself, and watched as the ketchup pouch I had hidden in my clothes ripped and leaked through my white blouse, substituting for blood. "There rust, and let me die."
And I fell, onto Kyle, and shut my eyes as the words THE END appeared on the screen.
Applause rang out through the classroom and Mr.Deli turned the lights back on. I couldn't even smile as he smiled at me and Kyle, who were sitting in opposite corners of the room. I hadn't smiled or laughed much in the past week.
"Nicely done, Kyle and Rihanna you've done a very good job on this presentation!" He nodded and gave back our feedback papers.
We earned a full 100/100 and Mr.Deli had drawn a smiley face next to the score. I looked over to where Kyle was sitting as he briefly did the same. He smiled slightly, but I turned away before he could say or do anything else.
I had tried and tried to talk to Killian but everytime I came up to him he would walk away or start talking to someone else. Lily barely talked to me, but when she did it was like we barely knew each other. It was all Kyle's fault.
I had called, and left plenty of messages for him and after a week or so, I just gave up on trying to get him to talk to me, much less forgive me. He hadn't even given me the chance to explain myself, or tell him what had really happened.
Also, it was as if the entire population of guys at school had realized that I was back on the market and were appearing out of nowhere with compliments or cheesy remarks. As much as I hated it, there was nothing I could do to stop it and they just seemed to pop out whenever Killian was around which made matters so much worse.
It was almost time for Halloween, and Loran, who thank god was still talking to me, was persistent on getting me to dress up as something really hot and going to a costume party this Saturday.
I told her I wasn't in the mood but she kept begging me and I just couldn't say no when she gave me her famous puppy eyes and a box of white chocolate candy bars.
So I told myself that maybe I needed to go out and have some fun anyways and decided to go look for a costume before tomorrow.
I was looking through my moms clothes to see if maybe she had something that I could make into a costume.
I noticed a piece of cardboard poking out of her clothes and pulled out a box from behind them. I frowned in confusion, why was there a box in my moms closet?
I sat down with the box in my hands and opened it up. The first thing I noticed was that most of the things in the box were related to motorcycles. There was a black helmet, gloves, a leather jacket, and a bunch of other mainly black clothes that someone who was considered a "badass" would wear.
What I found most surprising was that in the leather jacket, there was a note signed from Damien to Rihanna and it had a number on it. Did this mean that this stuff was mine?
I took a mental note to ask mom about the box the next time she came home, and was about to put the box away when I got an idea.
When Saturday came, I decided to dress up as a biker girl from the clothes I found in the box. It was too bad that I didn't have a motorcycle to go with the costume.
I put on a white crop top that showed the fake tattoo that I had bought yesterday by my abdomen and some black short shorts with my bomber leather jacket. I straightened my hair and tied it up high.
Last, I put on my red lipstick and coated my eyelids with the famous smoky eye.
The moment Loran walked into my room she wouldn't stop obsessing over how I looked. "You look so badass!" "You're going to steal all of the boys' attentions tonight babe."
I laughed and shook my head at every comment she made. The one guy I wanted the attention from practically hated me for something I hadn't even done, but I erased thoughts of him from my brain and looked over at Loran and said, "Well look at you, you little slut, you're going to blow them away."
She had on little mouse ears and practically the same costume as Karen from Mean Girls during their Halloween party.
Before we left, Loran put a hand on my shoulder and with the most sincere look I had ever seen in her eyes, she said, "Hey, I know you're all heartbroken from the Killian thing but if he's not willing to sit down and listen to what you've got to say about the matter, then it's his loss and he's the stupid one in this situation." She smiled, "So cheer up and let's go party your sorrows away!" She sort of yelled the last part.
And that led me to think that maybe I could have fun and forget about him for one night.

Red cups all over the lawn, and music blasting louder than the neighbors were probably comfortable with. Just the normal life of a teen I guess.
We walked in, and it was like every other party but it was as if there were more couples around then usual.
"You know what they say, people who don't have a significant other see the couples first." Loran whispered. She read my mind.
It was funny how Loran had said that I looked better but she was stealing the attention tonight, and I didn't mind it a single bit.
We went over to the dance floor, danced with random strangers, and drank like our lives depended on it. And the name Killian didn't pop up in my head once.
I took a break while Loran danced with Bradley Cooper, and I wasn't surprised when I saw him take her upstairs with a smirk on his face.
I whistled and he looked over to me, I gave him a glare and pointed to Loran, making a "I will kill you" gesture with my hands. It seemed like he got the clue.
He raised his hands in the air and winked, his way of saying he wouldn't hurt her. "Go on then" I gestured again with my hands.
Someone came up behind me and whispered, "Playing Cupid tonight Ace?" I turned and saw someone who looked familiar but I couldn't tell where I had seen him before.
Dark hair, ocean eyes, tall, and built.
He had a gorgeous face, and his hands snaked around my waist as I stared.
He smirked and took me over to the dance floor. For some reason, I felt comfortable with him and let him guide my hips as I moved them against him.
I smirked when I felt his lips on my neck. He bit my earlobe and whispered, "Did you miss me Ace?"
My eyes widened, and I let go of him like he was on fire. There was something that flashed through my head at that moment, it was like I had remembered something suddenly and it was playing in my head like a movie.
All I saw was a bright light, and then it was like I had been knocked out, I would've fallen if it wasn't for two strong arms that held onto me. At this point, I didn't know if I was actually being walked somewhere or if this was some sort of dream.
All I felt were those two strong arms and saw the light once more, and then I closed my eyes and everything was black.
