"Today is the day I get ready to go to the nether!" Steve said to himself, putting a diamond helmet on his head and staring triumphantly at the vast world in front of him. ((Steve you idiot..)) He walked to an empty clearing far away from his small wooden house. "So I got everything I need! Fourteen obsidian, food, weapons, armor, potions.. Yup! Everything is here!" Steve exclaimed as he started to place down the dark mineral. After he was finished he reached into his pocket for a flint and steel, only to realize that he had stupidly forgotten it back at his home. "Aww Man!" Steve whined, turning around and sprinting back to his house. His heart was racing in result of him being more than excited to finally explore the nether.

Legend had told that no one has opened one on over five thousand years and Steve was going to change that today, and nothing was going to stop him. No rain, mobs, or rabid wolves were going to hold him back from his adventure. He quickly reached his house and got inside, grabbing a flint and steel from the chest that was next to his bed.

He ran back out to where the portal was and lit it, falling back in surprise when a blast of purple went off. When he opened his eyes he let out a small squeal, seeing that the nether portal was indeed activated.

Steve jumped up and wasted no time in stepping in. His visions going dark, only to become light again. He looked around his surround gasped. There was red colored stone and lava everywhere. He saw a path of some kind of brown sand that looked like it had little faces on it. Steve shrugged and stepped on it, instantly feeling heavy as he walked.

He walked slowly but luckily the path wasn't that long and he finally stepped back on the red rock. Steve had a giddy smile plastered on his face as he explored some more.

After about ten minutes, Steve came across a huge fortress that was made up of a purplish red brick and had redstone torches all around it. He looked up at it in awe and wasted no time in running to it.

The inside was just as beautiful as the outside. The main room had a golden throne at the top of some steps. But what shocked Steve the most, was that someone indeed was sitting on that throne.

The strange person was reading from a book, so he didn't quite see Steve at first. He looked almost like Steve, but a little.. Grayer.. If that makes sense, and instead of blue eyes, they were pure white and glowing.

The man looked up at Steve, the book in his hand disappearing as he stood up. The man scowled as he stepped closer to Steve, all of his excitement reduced to a slight fear as the man approached him.

Steve should not have come here.
