His cries were barely audible from the stone room. Steve wanted so badly to be freed from the ropes of the chair, he wanted to go home, returning to his everyday lifestyle of mining and crafting,

Steve's face was soaked from tears. He hated here, he hated the nether and he felt like he was slowly going insane.

The room was dimly lit with only red stone torches, so Steve could even barely see the light filtering through the cracks on the door.

"Please!" He would scream. "Let me go!"

After what seemed like hours. Or maybe even days, the door clicked and opened. Through his blurred vision, he could see the muscular outline of a man, and two, glowing white eyes.

Herobrine.

Steve started to shake as Herobrine approached him, his eyes glinting in the light of the red stone. "N-No!" Steve shrieked. "Shut up." Herobrine hissed. He snapped his fingers and the rope around Steve's wrists disappeared.

Herobrine grabbed Steve's forearm roughly and pulled him out of the chair. Immediately Steve started to struggle against the God's grip.

But Herobrine kept a firm grip on Steve's arm. Steve took note of this and started to kick and trash around. Eventually he landed a blow with his first right in Herobrine's jaw.

Herobrine scoffed and wiped the small bit of blood that was on his lip before literally dragging Steve out of the room. "No wait please! I-I'm sorry!" Steve yelled.

Herobrine refused to say anything as he pulled Steve down the long netherrack hallway.

Steve frantically looked around for an escape, his eyes landing on a misshapen nether portal at the end of another long hallway.

As if by chance, Herobrine loosened his grip around Steve's arm. If he timed it right he could wriggle out and run to the portal.

Herobrine stopped when what Steve had known to be a Wither Skeleton started making noise. Herobrine turned to it and nodded. "Yes.." Herobrine said. "I don't care what he's going to do, he can't get into this dimension without me granting access or with a certain spell.." Herobrine said to the skeleton.

The skeleton made a clanking noise. Herobrine chuckled. "I understand.. You are dismissed." He made a single shooing motion with his hand and the Wither Skeleton went off.

Steve used the distraction to pull his arm out of Herobrine's grip. He started running in the opposite direction towards the portal.

He was so close, so close to freedom. Only feet away from the portal. But something blocked him. Herobrine, of course, had teleported right in Steve's path, making him run right into him, causing him to fall back.

Steve looked up at Herobrine in fear. Herobrine looked upset and annoyed. He tsked before picking Steve up by the collar of his shirt.

Steve started to shake, as Herobrine lifted a hand up. Afraid he was going to be hit, Steve closed his eyes and looked away. But all he felt was Herobrine's cold hands on his forehead before blacking out.
