Chapter Two~

Steve swallowed the lump in his throat as the man got closer to him. His glowing eyes squinting at the shorter Steve.

"Who are you." His voice boomed through the semi-empty chamber, causing a slight echo. Steve flinched and stepped back. "Answer me!" The man yelled. "St-Steve.." He replied, his voice, small.

The man grabbed Steve's chin, pushing his head up to meet his gaze so he could see Steve better. "W-Who are you..?" Steve asked. The man only
shook his head and waved a hand, making Steve black out.

Steve gasped and sat up, as he woke. He looked around to see that he was back at his house. "Wh-What?" He asked himself as he stood, tossing the blankets to the side.

He looked out the window to look for the Nether portal, but nothing was there. "Was it all a dream..?" He muttered. "Mm, nope." He heard a voice from behind him.

"GAH!" Steve fell back on his bed in surprise. He turned his head to see the same man from the nether, sitting casually on one of the storage chests. "Th-Then where's the portal?" Steve asked. "I destroyed it, I don't want to be trapped in there for another eon." He said.

"But how did you know where I lived!?" Steve asked, starting to panic. "Oh, I know everything, Stevey.." He said. Steve sat up on the bed. "Who are you?" He asked.

The man started to laugh at him. "You honestly don't know? I thought you were joking back in the nether.. You puny mortal." He said. "I-I'm serious!" Steve exclaimed. "I... am a god.." he said. "Now give me one reason not to squash you like a bug."

Steve shuddered. "P-Please don't kill me.. I just want to know your name, you're the only real.. Person I've met before.." Steve said. "I'm not a person, I told you I'm a god.." The man said. "Seriously, I want to know your name." Steve said.

"Herobrine.." The man said with a smirk and a gruff chuckle. Steve's heart leaped to his throat and he scooted back. "H-Herobrine!?" He squealed. "Oh now you're afraid.. isn't that just adorable of how you're afraid of me once you know who I am." Herobrine said.

"I-I've only read stories about you... and- Wait Adorable!?" Steve looked at him. "Heh.. don't take things too much into context.." Herobrine said.

Steve closed his eyes and shook his head, and when he opened them again, Herobrine was gone.
