Notch huffed as he paced back and forth in front of his throne. His feet tapping against the quartz floor.Sunlight filtered in from the large glass window, casting his shadow as he was in deep thought.
What could Herobrine be doing to Steve in the nether? Notch could only shudder at the thought. His younger brother was a cruel, evil man who would torture his victims. But seeing Steve is the first and only human in this world..
Notch shook his head and looked around, his eyes landing on a banner he had hanging in his throne room. The only reminder he had of his brother before he went out of his mind. The banner was just a handsewn image of Herobrine, yet Notch refused to take it down.
He sighed and slumped down in his throne, overlooking the empty room.
He lifted his head up when he suddenly felt the power levels in the castle rise. Notch shot up out of his throne and looked around. There was only one more being this powerful.
"Herobrine! Show yourself!" Notch yelled. "Ugh." He heard a familiar voice groan. Herobrine revealed himself, he was floating in the air right in front of the banner of his image. Steve's limps body was in his arms.
"Steve.." Notch said, his angered expression dropping. "I know what you're thinking.. He is not dead, he fought against me so I had to knock him out." Herobrine explained. "I'm hoping you're here to have mercy on him and leave him here." Notch said.
"Ha! Of course not." Herobrine said. "Then why are you here with him." Notch asked. "To show you he's perfectly fine.. I have no intention of hurting him, brother." Herobrine said.
Steve shifted a little in his sleep and gripped onto Herobrine's shirt. "Why.. Why did you take him in the first place?" Notch asked. "Isn't it obvious? I want him.." Herobrine said. "For what use could he possibly be to you?" Notch asked.
"Oh not like that you idiot." Herobrine said. Notch looked confused for a moment but his expression quickly dropped. "No." He said. "Are you crazy?!"
"Maybe a little." Herobrine smirked. "He's a mortal, Brother! He won't be able to handle that!" Notch yelled. "And?" Herobrine asked. "Besides what's he to you?"
"He's-"
"And don't go one about that shit about him being like your son, cause we both know he's just an experiment to you." Herobrine said. "Excuse me?!" Both exclaimed. "Stop lying! We both know that he's just an experiment to you.. The 'First Draft' to making the perfect human.. I know you're already working on another.." Herobrine said.
"How do you-"
"I've been inside your Lab recently.. You have so many books, literally labeled 'Flaws within Steve to fix for the next Human'." Herobrine said. Notch stayed silent. "You've been watching his every move.. Ever since he was.. What ever that small thing was." Herobrine said. "A baby?" Notch asked. "A what now?" Herobrine asked.
Notch rolled his eyes. "Okay so what if I do.." He said. "Well, for one thing how do you think he would react when he finds out his so call 'father' only values as a science experiment?" Herobrine asked. "And why do you suddenly care about him?!" Notch yelled. "Every one of my creations.. Except for the ones present now,. You have tortured and destroyed.. Other than the animals and your.. Killers! The monsters you have unleashed!" Notch yelled.
"..I'm done talking about this.. I'll go ahead and leave, with Steve of course.." Herobrine said before teleporting away.
