The man in the moon after waited for his chance to see what it felt like to be human. Yes, he once was one too, but that was so long ago that the memory had faded. He had always been different, so when he woke up after his untimely death, he couldn't exactly say he was surprised. It was as if he was expecting it, but you never know. The moon, although very lonely, had the comfort of the stars. And the stars were quite good company. But that's only when they felt like talking. What he had learnt from the stars should be able to get him through this; the stars often told him how the humans acted and how the communicated. It had been so long since he had actually talked that he thought, "If I had waited any longer than I would have lost it." At least that's what he thought, he wasn't the brightest moon in the sky. But what he would miss about this was the stars, they were kind and comforting. He would never forget the stars, he knew that much, they gave him a purpose, they called him 'BRAVE' and made him happy when the only thing he felt was inescapable loneliness. But he knew, he just knew he had to do this. This might be his only chance, his only chance to be human again. He had to.
And from then on, he would be known as Harry Lewis.
