He stood there in the pouring rain, waiting for the moon to claim the day. He stood there waiting, forever moving yet his feet were stuck to the ground. You'd think it would be simple, being the clouds that is, but that's not the case. You only have yourself as company, mankind to watch and things to think about. He only had his thoughts;that was until then. He was given an offer, one that he was so desperate to take but so scared to actually do. Although he often would overthink things, he, for some reason, loved to take risks. He remembered everything about his human life; he's only been dead for a few years. But a few years can drive a person mad. Time was different when you were dead, weeks seemed like months and months felt like years. But that's for another time, he had yet again let his thoughts wonder. He knew the consequences, he knew there was no turning back. He knew he should have stayed. That he should have kept on moving yet not at all. That he should have listened to the voices protesting inside his head. After all, they were normally right.
But alas, the human called Joshua Bradley carried on walking through the crowded street, he could think about it later. For now he had to figure out where he was.
