Simon played with his hair in anticipation, a habit he'd seemed to develop within the past two days of being human. He took a shaky breath out. He wanted to do this, it wouldn't be that hard. All he had to do was walk through that door and make his way to reception. It wasn't that hard, was it? Ignoring the annoying voice at the back of his head saying that he would fuck it up, he pushed open the doors and prepared himself. Instead of being crowded around like he remembered it to be like, he was just stared at like a piece of meat. Great, just great. Trying to ignore the stares, he continued past the other students. After about five minutes he had finally found his way to the reception and waited patiently for the woman to end her call. She placed the phone down and looked up at him, her curly blonde hair bunching up at her shoulders.
"Are you the new kid?" She asked in a slightly batty voice, to which Simon could only nod at. She rummaged through a drawer, smiling slightly when she found what she was looking for. "Here's your time table, this is what your lessons are and what weeks there are." She started, barely giving time for him to catch up, "You'll be paired with one of the students from your year and he'll take you round. He should be here in a minute or so." She gave Simon the timetable and then swung her chair around to shuffle through some more documents. What a nice person. He stood there awkwardly, standing there like a tall noodle until someone tapped him on the back, making him turn. A boy about his age stood in front of him. He had black styled hair and murky brown eyes that, when in the light, seemed to change to green. He wore a smile on his face and some stubble on his chin.
"Hi," he started, "Im Callum, but you can call me Lux, and welcome to Stemburg."

Harry was confused, and not like he normally was. For the strangest reason, his mum kept calling him Harriet. He was a boy, i mean, he felt like a boy and the very concept of being a girl scared him. Not in a sexist way but in a, "it makes me hold my breath for a second longer because It doesn't make feel safe" way. If you know what I mean. He had found it was natural to wear a black, tight binding thing which seemed to help make his chest flatter and it felt natural using he and him pronouns. He was a boy, he was sure of it. But then his world came crashing down when he found out where he went to school. Highsted, an all girls school. But he was a boy, that's what he felt safe as, normal as. When he had first found out his school, he seemed to have forgotten how to breathe and it felt as if someone had their fist around his heart and tried to rip it out. This wasn't right, there had to be something wrong. He was a boy, but he wouldn't let anyone change that. If they can't accept that he's a different sex from the one his genitals say he is, then they can go fuck themselves.
