It was my tenth year in schooling and I had two more years to go. At that point I was very anxious about what career would be picked for me. I got more into my studies. I wanted to either a writer or an educator. So I did a lot of school work hoping judges would notice me. Athena did the same.

She was in her eleventh year and wanted to be a creator. She loved to design. Even during classes she would do no work and only decorate her books. I must admit she was very talented. I let her turn my childish bedroom into a manly pavilion. With the wave of her palm she could re color garden flowers or furniture.

Alayis moved out of our home after he opened his wand shop. They were really nice quality. My mother wouldn't let me have two wands and Alayis business was struggling at first so I broke my first wand to buy one of his. He gave it to me for free anyways.

Athena came over to our home more often than usual after her engagement to Alayis. Their plan was to marry soon after Athena ended schooling. Athena got very close to my family. She even helped Araya with her schooling. Since her relationship with Alayis was now public we could no longer be a trio. There was no way that I was going to be third wheel so I stuck mostly with my own crowd.

During my last two years of schooling my friends Flame, Solar and I had a blast. We would play battle each other with our magic, make bets on girls and do other dumb stuff that males our age would do. Flame and Solar got their nick names from the damage they did as little atlans together. The first time met them we fought because the melted my shoes while causing havoc.

Solar ended up finding a girlfriend he really liked. Her name was Layka. I hated that name and I hated that girl. Flame and I bet on how long it would take him to do the it with her. I bet a month and Flame bet a year. So when my day came I invited them over to my home and let them use Alayis old room. Unfortunately little Araya walked in on them and I lost the bet.

Those were the good old days. I thought of those times as the most fun and care free. When my eleventh year of schooling came things went downhill for me.

The last day that I witnessed happiness was when my mother threw me a party. Everyone that I knew and loved was there. Flame, Solar, Alayis, Athena, Dainty and everyone in my school. It was held in at the white meadow. That was the most beautiful Forest in Mistal. White and lavender leaves and Unicorns. Little Araya was excited about the unicorns. That day I realized I had so many people that knew and loved me. There is nothing that can beat that. Alayis and Athena walked up to me together.

         "Happy Birthday." They yelled.

"Thank you!" I said as all three of us hugged. “I can't believe you too are soon to be wed. It seems like just yesterday we were little atlans goofing around."

"So does that mean you're happy for us now?" Athena asked.

"I've always been happy for you two. I don't want anything to mess up our relationship." Alayis and Athena both smiled with joy that I finally accepted them. Everyone danced, laughed and enjoyed themselves. Then a loud boom sound erupted and suddenly that section of White Meadow was burnt to ashes. The air smelt of black and we all coughed as it entered our lungs. What powerful creature was responsible for this? But that wasn't the question. It wasn't the doing of one creature. It was the doing of an army of creatures.

It seemed like the whole population of Mortada Forest was there. When I saw the leader it was most shocking to me. It was that spit wizard Patrick Ross. Now that I think about it I had no idea what happened to him after Alayis defeated him. But I later found out that. He left his school and his home to be raised in Mortada forest.

Everyone had the same shock after they saw him and suddenly remembered the story of the Sad Little Spit Wizard.

"Where is the almighty one?" He said. Everyone was silent.

"The almighty one!" He yelled and put more fear to the whole party. No one knew who he was talking about except for me and Alayis. He then closed his eyes and Athena yelled in pain.

"It is she. It is she." The army whispered to themselves. Alayis and I blocked Athena and took out our wand. Patrick saw this and laughed.

"Heroes don't win in my world." Patrick then struck his wand in the air and everything went pitch black. I couldn't see a thing. No one could. There was panic. I heard Athena

      "Alayis! Alayis!" She yelled.

"Athena where are you?" I said. I ran I had no idea which direction I was going in I just ran. Hopefully I'd be able to find Athena. My eyesight came back. So did everyone else’s. I saw Alayis looking around for Athena. He cried her name. She was gone. Everyone began teleporting away. Mother walked up to us with Araya gripping her hand.

"Boys we must get out of here." She says to us." Hell hath broken loose."

"Araya close your eyes." Alayis says in panic. "Find Athena. Where is she?" "She sleeps." Araya says. "On a comfortable stone." Araya starts crying loud. “We must all go home now! They are coming back to finish us off" We all poofed away.
