Chapter 3 Another Weird Day

            When we finally got home that day our mothers were so relieved that we were safe. The school also gave each of us bravery awards for taking on a Black Dragon. Time went on in school one and Athena and I got closer as friends. Eight years later my life got even more interesting.

            I had finally reached school three. The highest level schooling. I just turned fourteen and already got my powers. Alayis was already in school three on his last year. Athena was in year ten. I hadn't seen her in a year since she left school two. I couldn't wait to see her again.

            I walked into the school eager and I ended up leaving shocked. I first met up with my friends Flame and Solar. We knew we were going to run the whole school. Alayis got to school before me. He was talking to some of his friends and a couple of girls. I joined them.

            "Hey!" I said trying to look smooth as ever.

            "Welcome newbie." A boy Winster said. A girl tapped me.

            "Yeah welcome!" Two girls said admiring me. I winked at them and they giggled.

            "Oh Look. There goes Athena!" Alayis said. I turned my back so fast some pixie dust flew off of me. When I saw her she was ten times more beautiful than she was before. The first thing she did was give me the biggest hug.

            "Agatis I missed you so much."

            "It's good to see you." I said trying not to sound too excited.

            "How have you been?" she asked.

            "I've been great. I grew five inches. Finally I'm taller than you." Athena giggled at my words.

            "Alayis!" She said. She gave my brother an even bigger hug. Then they started whispering to each other. It got so annoying that I just left. After school Athena came to me. "Agatis I should come over to your house. It's been a while since I've been there. I want to see Araya and your mother. "Ok I don't see why not." I was so happy that she wanted to hang out with me. When we arrived my mother gave her a big hug. She was so excited to see her again. We went to my room to hang out like we use to.

            "Wow everything's the same." She said as she sat down on my bed.

            "Yea I'm the same... except a little bit taller."

            "That's perfect. You should at least change a little bit in life or else you have no reason to be living. School three is the hardest school and you will change a little bit on your journey to finding yourself."

            "Hard in what way?"

            "It can put a lot of pressure on you. Pressure that can change your whole outlook on life." She told me. At first I didn't understand what she meant but in time I figured it out.

            "Agatis." Athena called.

            "What is it?"

            "Have you done it yet?"

            "Done what?"

            "The it." She replied. "That thing that you learned were when you were in level seven remember?"

            "I remember." I answered quickly in hopes that she would switch topics. Athena laughed.

            "As soon as you learned of it you ran to me nearly in tears. You said you'd never ever harm a female in that way. And I told you we'll both like it." I nodded an laughed at my stupidity.

            "So did you do it?" She went on

            "It can't be done with just anyone." I said. "It has to be with someone special to you."

            "Do you think I'm special to you?" She asked me. I looked at her then turned away.

            "You do. Now I know you do." Athena looked me in the eyes. “You’re special to me too. This is a perfect time for it to be done."

            I heard her words and I replied, but the words I replied weren't my words. I agreed with her when I didn't want to agree.

            "Then come here." She said. I felt lost. I came to her, but I had no control of my legs. I was so close to her beautiful face that there was no turning back for me. So I kissed her, and she kissed back. It felt so nice to be close to Athena in that way. Now I wanted to give in, I wanted it to go further. We kissed for about two minutes until her lips let go of mine.

            "I have to go now." She said." I looked at her with no words.

            "Alayis it was fun hanging out like we used to." She added then left.

            "What just happened?" I said as I sat on my bed. I started playing with my wand. This day was so awkward.
