Summary: This part mostly involves a date with Dean and a slightly angsty moment, then a bit of a cliffhanger at the end.

Castiel was completely flushed red, as their faces were so close.
"Cas?" Ash asked. "Cas knows about the half-dragon, too?"
"He only found out yesterday," Jo replied.
"D-Dean, would y-you plea-ase get up?" Castiel asked, feeling much too nervous under Dean's embrace.
"Sorry," Dean mumbled, standing up and looking at Castiel with complete joy.
Jo looked between them with curious eyes, stepping towards them. "Dean, what happened? Why did you take Cas earlier?" She carefully asked.
"Cas is my mate," Dean simply answered, making Castiel's cheeks redden. "Well, he wants to court first."
Castiel felt his stomach sink, like he could vomit at any moment. Jo looked at Dean with wide eyes, as well as Ash.
"Aren't you both males?" Ash asked, eyebrows raised in surprise and confusion. "I thought only males and females courted."
"Usually, with humans, it's only males and females. Dragons can mate with two of the same sex, though," Dean replied. He wrapped an arm around Castiel's waist, who just stood there in shock.
"Does that mean...you two have-"
"No! N-no," Castiel interrupted the girl. "We haven't-t done an-nything."
"Oh," Jo said. She looked between the two as Ash was smiling.
"Amazing," Ash brightened, causing a shoulder punch from Jo. "What? It's a half-dragon! I'm talking to him and learning about him. It's a whole new species never been documented!"
"That's not the issue, donkey-brain!" Jo yelled. "Dean, you have feelings for Cas, right?" She asked. Dean nodded happily. "Cas...do you have feelings for Dean as well?"
Cas wished he could be disintegrated at the moment so he would never have to answer the question. "Well, I-I may-I mean t-to say th-that I'm not sure..." his voice turned quieter than a mouse's.
"Do you like men that way?" Ash asked, eyes glinting in suspicion.
Castiel ducked his head down, feeling shame engulf him. Men were supposed to love women, and it only ever worked that way. It was a woman's job to bring forth children, and a man's job to support them. Who'd ever heard of a man who loved a man, or a woman who loved a woman?
"Cas?" Jo asked when he wouldn't answer. She looked to Ash, who nodded back to her. Jo took Cas's hand into hers and held it softly. "We won't treat you different if you do. I just-we've never met anybody who was actually like that. Ash was just curious. You don't have to answer the question."
Castiel nodded, as he wasn't sure how exactly to say what he was. He liked men, but he didn't only like men. He liked women too. The only word he could possibly think applied to him would be deviant. And that word only worked to make him feel like some mutation of a human being. It just didn't feel right to be called a deviant.
