Shane's POV

I woke up happy. Smiling, buzzing. That was unusual for me as I'm usually the worst at getting up. I flutter open my eyes, staring down at Joey, eyelids lightly closed, breathing deeply. I loved waking up next to him, and I wish I could do it everyday. It felt perfect, right, amazing. Just how I always wanted it to be. I was a little hesitant at wanting him to move in with me, we had only been together for a little over a month. But, last night proved that I was going to make the right decision. I now knew that, through all the fights we had or will have, we can cut through and fall right back in love again. That's what was perfect about us. I stared at Joey a little longer, impatient for him to wale up. I started to play with his hair absent-mindly twisting it slowly around my finger. I didn't mean to wake him though, but it just sort of happened. He opened his eyes, darting up to me and smiling.

"Mornin'"

I whispered, kissing his nose. It instantly scrunched up under my lips, a little giggle slipping from his lips.

"You too."

He grinned, and I moved over so he could sit up. I was getting a little anxious, I just really wanted to ask him. I bit my lip, thinking it through. Was it the right time? Is it too soon? Will he want to move in?

"I know this is a little... Forward,"

I started. I wasn't really prepared to say it, but I guess it's too late now.

"Would you like to... Move in with me?"

I asked, a little quietly. I was nervous. I didn't want him to think it was too soon. We've only been together for a few weeks, but we've known eachother for so long. I think it's time. Joey smiled.

"I would love to!"

He exclaimed, kissing me slowly, morning breath making my nose crinkle.

"Sorry."

He giggled and my face.

"I'm gonna go take a quick shower, then change... I guess into my clothes from yesterday. He said motioning to said clothes on the floor. I nodded at him as he stood up, watching his butt sway as he bent down to pick up his clothes. Even at 10 in the morning, he was still a tease. He basically skipped towards the bathroom, his cheerful self taking over as he hummed a soft tune. I smiled. He was precious.

Joey's POV

I wrapped my towel around my head, squeezing out the water in it. I was really excited. Finally moving in with my boyfriend. It's what I had had hoped for for so long. Someone to love who loved me back, even enough so that we knew we made the right decision as soon as it was made. And this, I was sure, was the right decision. I put down the towel, combing my hair up as I looked into the mirror. I was the happiest I've seen myself in a while. I just really wanted to pack up and move in here! Don't get me wrong, I loved Sawyer and living with him, and I would miss him dearly, but I think it's time a change scenery. This is the perfect time to do that. I practically skipped down the stairs to Shane eating breakfast.

"Made you some "eggs to go"

he said, handing me one of my egg sandwiches in a napkin, and a bottle of water.

"Thanks babe."

I said, taking the food from his hands.

"I'm probably just gonna go alone for now, pack up more important things, probably go out for lunch with Sawyer, that stuff. You can just work on slits and stuff today. I will text you if anything changes k?"

I asked. Shane nodded.

"Godd idea, you'll come back tonight though right?"

He asked, pleading eyes as if he had to beg me to stay.

"Of course! You don't even have to ask!"

I said matter of factly.

But I didn't exactly make it home as planned...
