"I got it!" I shout as I walk through the door. "Well done!" Noah replies. He's on his phone yet again ,his thumbs are quickly tapping the glass screen. "What level are you on now on Candy Crush?" His eyes don't even look away from the small piece of technology in his hand. "Uh-um I don't know 89?" I raise my eyebrows. "How can you not know your phone is right in front of you?" I thrown down my coat and bag and walk towards him. Hearing my sudden movement he quickly locks his screen. "I wasn't on it I was just texting someone" he throws his phone harshly through the air onto the other sofa. As if it was a disease ready to spread on to him any moment. Studying his facial expression I notice he has got dark purple bags underneath his eyes ,he looks like he hasn't slept in weeks. "Hey ,what's up?" I sit on his lap on the stiff leather sofa. He immediately stiffens and I sense something is wrong. "Noah. Tell me ,please?" I've never seen him so affected about something before. He sighs loudly sounding very defeated. "My old friends Jason just recently passed away ,from Cancer" "oh ,sorry" he must of been really close to Jason as I've never seen him so affected. I actually feel kinda bad for pressuring him into telling me. "It's fine ,just leave me alone for a while?" He rises from the sofa ,pushing me gently off of his lap. He walks into his room and slams the door. I guess I'd best follow his requests. I get out my homework and once that is done I get ready for bed.
