But seriously, I have worked hard to produce this story, and if you copy or take it as your own, you have don't none of the work and I have. It is very rude and incredibly unprofessional.

Now on to the story...

First day at a new school.

I should be used to this by now, with how many times we've moved, but I'm still really nervous. What if they don't like me?
I have to fit in.

Just before I walk out of the door in my squeaky new shoes, I turn to look at myself in the full length mirror in the hallway. Staring back at me is a girl with long, smooth, dark hair and a fringe covering her eyes. She is wearing a grey skirt and cardigan, with a white shirt and grey tie and a pair of navy tights to match her too big navy blazer. She looks like a model pupil. I have learnt, over the years, that the best way to go is to be a teachers pet, for a while at least, because then I don't mix with the wrong crowd. My parents have enough trouble on their hands at the moment, so I just fade away into the background and cope by myself.

The struggles of having a disruptive sister.

Anyway, I open google maps on my iPhone because my parents forgot to tell me how to get to school. After typing 'The Co-operative School for girls and boys' into the search bar, I follow the nice blue line all the way to a pair of huge iron wrought gates.

Really, someone should inform the maker of gates that for schools, imposing gates are definitely not the right idea.

I mean talk about intimidating!

But I just walk in, because what else can I do, really?

I walk to the secretary's office after some rude student points out where it is, and I cautiously knock on the door. There are three different types of secretaries that I have encountered:
1. The rude - the ones who just hate everyone and everything, glare at you and never talk in anything but a shout.
2. The quiet - the ones who just mutter under their breath, never raise their eyes or their voice, and are generally very timid.
3. The overly-excited - these are the worst. They seem thrilled to see you no matter what, they have bags of energy even at ridiculous hours of a Monday morning, and they don't stop rambling on!

So I really hope that I get a quiet secretary...

" Who's there? Come in darling!"

Oh no. I really can't deal with overly bouncy people in the morning.
Slowly I push open the door and I see a tiny woman with bouncing grey curls and withered skin that is so pale I can almost see through it. She is jumping up and down in front of her desk with a piece of paper - I'm assuming my timetable- in her hand. She beckons for me to come closer, but I stand my ground. If the thinks I'm getting any closer to her she thinks wrong.
I do not want to catch the crazy disease.

So I just hold out my hand and say bluntly
"Timetable"
I'm really not in the mood.

But she is, because she pulls out a chair for me at her desk and then decides to tell me where every single classroom I have to go into this week is.
Like I going to remember.
"Sit down dearie! My name is Mrs Myers, and you must be Tracy Whal, yes? Now, here is your timetable and your first lesson is maths, which is just down this corridor and then down the third corridor to your left and then down the second corridor to your right and then it is the fifteenth classroom on your right. And then after that, you have history, which is down to your left, first corridor on the right and then it is the fourth door on your right. And then Physics, which is in the science block. Now to get there, you will have to..."
And she went on like that for all five days of my week. It actually took a whole fifteen minutes.
