Chapter 5- Feelings

Raspberry walked into the party. He grabbed a girl by her skirt and pulled her next to him. "I would introduce myself, but I'm more interested in your name." He sighed, the girl answered "My name is Catherine, I'm fifteen." Raspberry told her to follow him to a booth. They sat down. He handed her a drink. When she digested it she choked for a bit. Her neck, instead of having a necklace, had a belt on it. Her hair had red streaks on it. "My name is Caroline, I'm using this vessel." She said, Raspberry laughed. Catherine was spat out and Caroline had her own vessel. "It seems this cat isn't weak willed as the humans. I need reinforcements!" Raspberry screamed, he lifted his paw and lifted up some black sludge. He shot it at five men. They turned into loyal henchmen. Ray and Sarah were dancing together. They heard a man flying across the room. Sarah and Ray ran off the dance floor. Two red suited men blocked their path. Sarah got a boost from Ray and kicked the men. "I'm glad I wore some tights under this dress." She said, they ran up towards a booth. They saw Blueberry in the booth. "Was that you Blueberry?" Ray asked, he answered "Buzz off you moron! This is my booth and there is nothing you can do about it!" Caroline pushed the two kids back. "You heard him! Get out of here!" Ray grabbed Sarah's hand and dragged her. Sarah pulled him back to the booth.

"Blueberry! It's Sarah! Is this how you treat friends?" She yelled, Raspberry smiled and walked on his hind legs. "Hahaha! Wrong move sister! This broken man is going to piece himself together with girls and empty love." He said touching her face with his tail. "If you want, I can let you be in my group." Sarah grabbed the cat and threw him on the ground. The cat started pulling on his belt. "Don't..... hurt..... them...." He said, Raspberry slapped his face and his eyes blinked colors. Raspberry bites Sarah in the arm. The cat kept changing colors. Grey, red, grey, red and grey again. Blueberry started pulling on the belt again. "Don't hurt my... FAMILY!" He screamed jumping out of Raspberry's grasp. He punched the red cat in the neck. Blueberry looked at Sarah. He turned his eyes green and healed her arm. With still angry eyes, the cat looked at Raspberry. "It's too late now! I have my vessel! Henchmen! Show no mercy!" He screamed, the evil cat grabbed Caroline and ran away. Ray knocked all five men out with one punch. Blueberry was curled up in a ball. Zane, Teony, Sarah, and Ray were circling him. "Blueberry?" Sarah said, Blueberry answered "You know where to find me..." The cat opened up a rift under him and entered it. Zane told Teony that he'd call her later. He then looked at Sarah and Ray in anger. "I know people are staring at us and the music stopped, but I have to know! What did you say to him when you went back to the booth?"

The android yelled, Ray put his arm in front of Sarah and growls "She asked him if that's how he treated his FRIENDS." Zane gave a burst of steam. "No! Why did you say that!? How can you be so thoughtless!" Zane screamed in rage. He pulled out his wings and flew out of the building. Ray gave the manager money for the damage. "Sarah... Where is your friend?" He asked, Sarah replied "He will be at the cave." Ray teleports there and back. "Nope! Not there." Sarah thinks. "Then home, I guess." She said, the two run to the house. They enter the house, run upstairs, and saw Zane in front of the cat's room. They can hear him crying in there. Ray tried to teleport in, but there was a barrier around the room. "He hasn't stopped crying." Zane sighed, Sarah asks "Let me talk to him." Zane set his foot down and gives an angry look. "I might not know him well, but this cat has been through a lot. That dress you are wearing, he made it because the stores were out of stock in dresses. That furball does this and more for you. He even... nevermind. I promised not to say any of this, but you got my gears grinding." Zane waited for a response. Blueberry was still crying. His door opened and the three looked in. The cat had one blue eye and one green one. "I can't s-s-stop! My heart hurts *sob* and I c-c-can't heal m-my *sniff* heart!" He sobbed. Tears rolled down his blue eye, while the green eye kept glowing. Zane told the cat to calm down.

"My h-h-heart broke... I can't s-stay like *sob* this... Get out again, please." He cried, Sarah says "No, we need to talk." The door closed and locked. Blueberry opened the rift and pushed them through it. They were back in the hallway. The cat can still be heard crying. Sarah knocked on the door. No response. "If you want a response, then let me try something." Zane beeped, he turned his arm into gatling guns. He started shooting at her. A blue sphere engulfed her. The bullets disintegrated. Sarah gave a confused look. "You still don't understand! He can be dying, but if your endangered he will still protect you." Zane explained, Blueberry appears next to her and says "Don't *sob* hurt." He realized there was no immediate endanger and enters his room. Sarah looked at her dress. She looked at Ray. He kept his head down. Zane was playing a game on his arm. They waited. Sobs can still be heard. The group fell asleep in the hall. They woke up and still heard him cry. Sarah left to change and Zane went downstairs to make breakfast. Ray followed the android. Sarah was back in her sweater and pants. She ran downstairs and sat at the counter. When Zane finished he gave everyone a plate of pancakes. He sets one on a empty chair. "Blueberry! Breakfast!" Zane called, the food enters a rift and in it's place was a thank you note. The three eat their plates and clean the dishes.
