Unwanted

Chapter 1- All in one day

It all started in the lost lab of Terra. Terra was a continent, one of many on planet Vexun. The lab was a secret facility for the research of reanimation. This lab was known as lost lab, but it was named R.O.R labs back when it was opened. When the facility was found to be corrupted it was closed and destroyed. Nobody knew what was truly in the lab. Everyone that was employed there was either missing or dead to tell the truth. Rumors say that the soil over the broken lab, when standing upon, you can hear crying. Deep under the soil was a secret part of R.O.R labs. A man was surrounded by strange disfigured creatures and he was working on something important. On the desk is a dying cat. This cat was white and grey. He injected it with a new fluid that needed testing. The subject must still be alive in this process, yet has to die within an amount of time. The cat starts breathing heavily and dies. The man waits on the subject to respond. "I don't understand! The Bluz virus should have worked!" He screams in a fit of anger. The cat stood lifeless. The man leaves the table with the disfigured creatures to grab a bite. The subject was left unsupervised. The subject melted into a huge puddle of disfigurement. Then it molded into a huge cat (Pic above). It stood 3 feet tall on all four paws. It had big black eyes. Underneath each paw it glowed blue. The cat was alive. The man enters the room again and sees his subject reanimated.

"Subject 42... Do you remember?" The man asked the cat. "...B...l..u..e...b...e...r...r..y..." The cat echoed, the man was shocked. "You can talk?" He asked, the cat says "I don't know.... I can't remember.... Blueberry my name..." The man pulls out his scanner and points at Blueberry. He was astonished. This cat was not the same one he injected. The DNA strands were completely different. The brain was now as complex as a human's. The man wanted to study this creature more. Nine years have passed since then. The cat, Blueberry, was more intelligent and wore a blue scarf around it's neck. His white and grey fur looking fluffed. "Master! You're back! So, the other creatures seem upset and asked me to tell you that they need meat." Blueberry said, the man answers "I cannot. They will go crazy if I do." Suddenly, the disfigured crept slowly toward the man. "E..a..t.." they said in unison, the man picks up Blueberry and ran. The creatures chased after them. Blueberry started throwing cake at them. "What!? They don't want to eat sweets?" He questioned, the man answers "Of course not! They thirst for meat. Any experiment that failed ends up wanting meat. Nobody knows why." The two reach a door and the guy starts opening the door. "Why did I design a multi lock system on this!" He screamed, the disfigured weren't far from them. Blueberry pulls up a paw and launches fire at them. He creates a barrier in front of him to keep them away.

"Master, I can't hold it forever!" Blueberry cried, the man opens the door and the two start running. They reach the outside world and look back. The disfigured were stepping out into land. "No! They will eat the innocents!" The guy yells, Blueberry lifted his paw. "You shall not pass guys. The innocents don't deserve being eaten." The creatures didn't listen and kept stepping forward. Blueberry's eyes turn red. He throws fireballs at the disfigured and kept going. The man calls 911 and asks for help. Blueberry kept fighting, but they kept coming. "Ugh! They don't give up so easily." Blueberry quotes. A team of professionals drive in from a van and lined up. They pulled the man behind them and started shooting. Blueberry notices and puts a force field around him. The disfigured were being split apart and backing up. "Hey! Don't shoot me!" Blueberry screamed, the professionals concentrated their firepower on the cat. The ground blew up and Blueberry was launched into the sky. "Master!" He screamed as he flew across the sky. The professionals celebrate and enter the van with the guy. They set out for safety. The man was worried about Blueberry. What if he makes it? What if the cat is out there searching for a way to find him? The guy grew worried and was on his way to safety. At the lab exit, the disfigured reformed. They looked hungrier than before. They see and follow the van to wherever it's heading.

Far from there was a small town called Frosdin. It was always snowing and cold there. A tail stuck out of the snow in the middle of town square. A girl was standing next to it and pulls it up. It was Blueberry, who was unconscious. The girl carries him into a secret cave and sets him down. She started a fire. The warmth of the fire spread across the cave. The girl wore an orange sweater and blue pants. Her face from the nose to her forehead was covered in darkness. Her brown hair giving a shadow over her face. Her nose and lips were visible and she was a bit pale. Blueberry wakes up and looks around. He saw a girl next to the fire. "You can leave if you want." She spoke, Blueberry answers "I'd love to but, I have no idea where I'm at." The girl gets up and turns away from Blueberry. "Is something wrong?" He asked, she fainted. Two orbs fly out of her. One was white and the other was black. "I told you that cat didn't belong here!" The black orb yelled, the white one said "That cat is harmless. Look at it! Cute and gentle!" Blueberry gets up and looks at the orbs. "Excuse me. Are you friends of this girl?" He asked, the white orb says "Oh! Where are my manners. My name is Good and the mean one is named Evil. We're the balance in Sarah. Her souls!" The Evil orb yells "Excuse my softy buddy over here. She can be a handful. So leave and I won't harm you." Blueberry refuses and tries to wake up Sarah.

He places a paw on her head and shakes it. She felt cold. Blueberry drags her closer to the fire and lifts his paw. He threw some more fire into the fire pit and gets the cave warmer. She started to move. The two soul orbs enter her and Sarah looks at the cat. "Are you alright?" Blueberry asked, Sarah says "Why are you still here? Can't you see I want to be alone?" Blueberry gave a confusing look. "Nobody wants to be alone. We all seek someone to talk to." He states, she answers "Well I do. Nobody even cares about me. They think I'm a monster." Blueberry says "If it makes you feel better, I think you're nice." Sarah looks at the cat and grew a smile. She wraps her arms around him and hugs. "Thank you! So, umm, do you have a home?" She asked, Blueberry answers "I had one. Until the disfigured went crazy and..." Just then Blueberry realized there were more creatures that were sleeping in the lab. If they find the exit, then Terra may be doomed. "Listen Sarah! Your my first friend since I reached the surface. I want you to come with me to the R.O.R labs in Terra! There is a problem and I want to keep you safe. Please come with me." Blueberry awaited her answer, Sarah says "I don't know how you know my name, but I'll help you get there if that's what you're asking." Sarah picks up a rock and opens a hatch. She pulled out a knife and places it in a holster. She attached it to her pants, ready to venture out.

Blueberry and Sarah leave the cave to find the disfigured creatures eating the townsfolk. "Oh boy..." Blueberry quotes, Sarah grew angry that Frosdin was being destroyed. "Alright... Don't get near the mouths of these creatures. They hunger for meat. I suggest using ranged attacks, but close combat is effective yet dangerous. So... Let's terminate these guys!" He explained, Sarah nodded and pulls out her knife. She slashes the disfigured and kept dodging their mouths. Blueberry sets his fists on fire and punches the creatures. Sarah and Blueberry come back to back. The disfigured surrounded them and were ready to attack. Blueberry's eyes turn red and he starts blasting the creatures with his fire. He was angry that his master was gone because of them. "I hate you all! Just go back where we came from!" He yelled, Blueberry sets the creatures on fire. "Huh... What does he mean by 'where we came from'?" Sarah thought, the creatures coward into a home. "Good job, cat. Know we can destroy them by burning that house..." Sarah started, Blueberry looks at Sarah with surprise. "How... can you say that? They are as sensitive as anyone else. They are my family... and I love them. If I have to hurt them... to bring them back, then I must. Sarah... I am not what you think I am..." He spoke, Sarah replied "I knew you were different, but this isn't what I expected.But... if they're your family... I won't judge." Blueberry grows a smile.

He opens a rift and tells the creatures to go home. They enter the rift and say 'goodbye' in unison. "Are you crazy!? Those things just ate some people! You're going to just let that slide?" Sarah screamed, Blueberry yells "Stop! You don't understand!" Sarah lifts Blueberry by his scarf. "I don't care! I wish those things didn't exist!" She antagonized, Blueberry starts crying. "So... That's how *sniff* you feel?" Sarah gets angry and gives him a glare. "Stop whining you brat! It's not like I insulted you." Blueberry stops crying and gives Sarah an angry stare. Sarah was shocked. Blueberry says "Never judge the cover... My name is Blueberry, but that's all I remember from my past. This is my second time walking on Vexun, but it feels like my first. I was JUST a cat... Now I'm a disfigured. My DNA structure is much different from my past... In fact, I don't think I'm even the real Blueberry. It's sad. To know you were normal and... now others see you as a monster. Sarah... I am just an error. I wasn't supposed to be here. I don't truly exist." Blueberry stops talking. Sarah sets him on the snow. She grew a smile. Blueberry looks at the floor sadly. Sarah grabs him and gives a hug. "Aww! You are just adorable! I'm sorry, Blueberry...." She said, Blueberry feels warmth in his heart. He was happy again, but he didn't know why. "(0///0) Sarah... I f-feel better now." He said, Sarah let's go and smiles.

"Umm... Your face is red. Are you using fire on yourself?" Sarah asked, Blueberry replied "(-///-) Y-Yah! I got cold for a bit." Blueberry looks away and breathes heavily. "You can't grow feelings! You're a creature and she is a human. You should be disappointed at yourself. Although... she is cute. What are you thinking Blueberry!?" He thinks to himself. Blueberry and Sarah get focused and look for a police station. They make it and report that every living being is endangered. The police start notifying people with the news. "*On broadcast channel* Attention viewers. The mystery behind Frosdin's damage and death has been solved. A young ten year old girl and a strangely large talking cat were arrested after turning themselves in. More about this later on."
