Chapter 6- Decision

Zane runs upstairs and sits in the bathroom. He pulled out his eye. He turns on his remote on the arm. The eye was placed on the floor and popped out wheels. Zane placed an eye patch on his face. He drove his eye under the door and turned it into a helicopter eye. He flew it over to the kitchen, the eye pulls out a mic. "Sarah. I like you a lot and I know it's early, but will you be my girlfriend." Ray said, Sarah replied "Oh! Well... Umm, err... Can I tell you tomorrow?" Ray smiled and nodded. He left the house. Zane flew his eye back to the bathroom and puts it back on. Sarah found Zane exiting the bathroom. "So you also do oval office business?" She asked, he replies with "I eat food too. So, yes." Zane looked at the window. He saw Ray fighting a giant. Blueberry barged out his room and crashed through the window saying "We can never catch a break!" Zane and Sarah follow him. Caroline was stomping on trees. Blueberry turned his eyes pink and placed a paw on his chest. He turned big and grabbed her with his tail. "Why don't you and Raspberry just go on a date or something." He asked, Caroline answered "Why would I do that?" Blueberry let's go of her and sits there. "Why! Because it's something anyone can have. Even if you both are just black sludge." He sighed, she crossed her arms and said "It's not that I don't want to. It's just that he wants your town gone. Wait, what do you even know about love?"

Blueberry placed a paw on her shoulder, shrinking them back to normal size. "Me? I'm not sure, but I can imagine. It's when two people have a special bond, a connection. That bond grew from the battles they both fought, the things they both shared, and what they both done for each other. True love." He explained, Caroline's facial expression was no longer angry. "But... Where do I start?" She asked, Blueberry extends a paw. Caroline grabs it and his eyes glow pink. Her red streaks turn pink. "I shared some with you." Blueberry says, Raspberry appears next to her. "Stop doing that! I want this town destroyed!" He screamed, Caroline grabs the cat by the neck and says "Raspberry! You will love and respect me! I'm stronger than you, so don't try anything. I want love... and you, Blueberry." Caroline marched up to Blueberry and whispers "Your heart is in the right place. I hope she notices that. You deserve to have love." She pats the cat and walks away. The two went up to the sheriff's office and turned themselves in. Blueberry's eyes go back to normal. "What was that?" Ray asked, Blueberry replied "A change of heart. Unlike Raspberry, Caroline had feelings. The human she used was emotional, but Raspberry controlled me in a time of anger. That red cat didn't know how love worked. So I got her to make him learn. If it works, then that is one less evil to deal with." Blueberry walks back to the house.

Sarah and Zane do the same. Ray left to Ephemeris knows where in Vexun. The cat goes to his room to sleep. Sarah grabs Zane's arm and pulls him to the kitchen. "I need your help." She asked, Zane sighs "Is it about Blueberry?" Sarah facial expression turned red. Zane raised an eyebrow. "I did something I think I might regret." She blurts out, Zane was still lost in the conversation. "I... Umm... I kissed Blueberry, but now Ray wants to be a thing." Sarah cried, the android smacked his face. "Sarah. No. Why did you do that?" He asked, Sarah answered "I didn't want him to stay sad. So I gave him a... *gulp* kiss." Zane placed his hands on his head. He knew Ray was looking through the window. "Oh no! Ray saw that and now he asked if you want to be his girlfriend. Sarah, whatever choice you make... One of them will be alone. Ray will get angry if he knew that you kissing Blueberry turns into something more. Blueberry might live, but the worst will be the cat staying in his room or avoiding you." Zane explained, Sarah curled up into a corner and started crying. She couldn't make up her mind. Zane felt bad for her. "What if I told you there was a way I can get you a better choice. I can erase emotions. So I can make them forget they ever loved you. Just... tell me who to use it on." Zane sits on the counter. Sarah told him to wait for her decision. She went for a walk outside.

At the police station, Sarah went to visit Caroline and Raspberry. The two were snuggling. "How do you do it? Love something different?" Sarah asked, Raspberry answered "I can explain. When I studied Blueberry for the first time, I noticed other girls interested in him. So maybe it's not the looks, but the personality." Sarah was surprised that he knew this. They stop snuggling. "Is this about you and Blueberry? Because Ray is from space, if you had not noticed." Raspberry questions, Sarah states "Ray may be different, but he looks human." Raspberry and Caroline were shocked. "I thought looks weren't everything?" Caroline cried, Sarah screams "I know! It's just that... I don't want to hurt them." Raspberry gave an angry look. "Then take the path where nobody kills each other." He meowed, Caroline hugs him and get back to snuggling. Sarah leaves the cells. She walks to the cave. Her souls exit her body. "I say good riddance. We don't want a creature. Blueberry is a monster." Evil spoke, Good slapped him and says "Don't do it for those reasons. People did the same to you. This is a choice for your heart. What does it say?" Sarah couldn't tell. Her heart was pounding too fast to know. The two souls enter her body and Sarah sits in the cave. She slept there until morning. Everyone wondered where she went. Sarah was deep in the cave where no light would reach her.
