"Leaning now, into the breeze, remembering Sunday he falls to his knees; they had breakfast together, but two eggs don't last like the feeling of what he needs." -All Time Low, Remembering Sunday

( A/N sorry for not updating. I recently made revisions in previous chapters so I strongly suggest you reread the entire story >.>  there's only four chapters though, so its not too long. )

*Alex's POV*

"Hey Alex, how have you been?" Rian said, smiling as soon as he saw me.

"Uh, good, good." I lied, still feeling nervous from what happened with Jack, minutes prior.

"Fuck, your hair, dude! Woah." He said, his eyes full of amusement as they stayed staring at my newly died pink hair.

"My friend did it for me. Just a few minuted ago actually." I said, once again feeling awkward inside for almost kissing Jack.

"If it's possible, your teeth have gotten whiter, Ri." I mentioned, getting my mind off of Jack.

"That's not even possible." He said, crossing his arms over his chest defiantly, as if that would prove his point.

He looked around the room, probably noticing the awful color and feeling a hospital aura. It was, in a way, a hospital after all.

"How have you survived these past few weeks, Lex? I'm surprised that your not begging me to take you home." He said with curiosity.

"I've been... fine, actually. The patients here aren't too bad, and with therapy, I've come to the fact that I um, might need little bit of help."

"Good for you, Alex. I'm proud, really." My best friend announced happily, unable to keep a smile off his face.

"Thanks." I said, genuinely smiling.

"Here, let's go sit down outside or something, and tell me what it's like at this place."

"So you almost kissed him?" Rian asked in disbelief, a look of shock written clearly over his features after I had spilled out everything.

"Exactly." I said, unable to keep Jack's face out of my mind.

"That's insane. When did you start... you know?" Rian asked uncomfortably.

"Start what, my period?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.

"No dork, I mean when did you start liking guys?" He said, looking nervous.

"I don't like guys." I protested confidently.

"But you like Jack." He pushed.

"Not romantically." I said.

"But you keep fixating on what it would be like to kiss him." Rian shot back.

"That's totally normal."

"For a straight guy? No." He said.

"Well fuck you, I'm out of comebacks." I said, defeated.
