Daddy Niall

Chapter 23

A few weeks has gone by now; it's almost Halloween. Niall ended up just repaying for the house, not wanting to risk anything. The last thing he wants is to lose Trinity again. Today, him and Zayn are taking all five of the kids out to pick out costumes for Halloween. Trinity and Julie have decided that they were going to go as robbers, since Trinity remembered that Lou told her that's what they were gonna be. The twins have told Uncle Nee many times that they want to go as the 'mouses from the castle' and little Coen decided to be funny and tell everyone he wants to be like his daddy, so Liam is currently looking for a body builder costume just for the hell of it. 

As the walk into the shopping plaza, Trinity makes her way over to Zayn with a pout on her face. He tries to ignore her, but it ends quickly. "Baba?" Zayn smiles a bit, still trying to ignore her, but can't help but be happy that even though she's older now, she still calls him that. "Baba, I know you hear me. Why won't you talk to me? I'm your favorite." Zayn looks down at Trinity and rolls his eyes. 

"Yes Trinity Jane?" Trinity smiles with success and raises her hands.

"Pig back?" Once again, Zayn rolls his eyes, but agrees by picking her up and setting her on his back. 

"We are both getting too old for this, sweetheart." Trinity laughs a bit and hugs Zayn as best as she could. 

"I know, but I love this. It's a lot of fun, and you and uncle Li are the only two who can still carry me." Niall sees Zayn and Trinity out of the corner of his eye and smiles a little, happy to see both Trinity and Zayn smiling. 

They spend a few long hours in the costume store because somebody, Trinity, couldn't decide which outfit her and Julie should wear. After another 30 minutes of her deciding, she finally picked out her favourite, and Niall couldn't have been any happier knowing he can finally leave the damn store. After he pays for all of the costumes, him and Zayn decide to take the kids to get something to eat, since Coen started yelling that he was hungry. After they eat their lunch, they finally go home for the night. The kids were excited to dress up and couldn't wait for Halloween to come.

"Why did I decide to do this?" Trinity groaned. "I love this day everyday but this day. Forget it, I'm not going." Niall laughs at his daughter before shaking his head. 

"You're going. I bought you and Julie that outfit after hours of you deciding. You're going out." Trinity walks into the kitchen, where her dad is at, and purses her lips.

"What if I go out tonight, but not in the costume. What if Julie and I returned the costume, and decided to go as something else?" She places money on the counter in front of Niall, who stares for a few minutes before laughing a bit.

"Trinity Jane-fine, what are you two going as?" Trinity smirks a bit before running out of the kitchen and to her room. A few minutes later she comes back to the kitchen and strikes a pose. It takes Niall a few seconds to understand, but soon he's laughing loudly. "Okay, fine, you can go. Where's Julie?"

"She's having some difficulty, but she'll be down in a few." Soon, Julie is making her way into the kitchen and Niall, at this point, can't help himself. For some reason he just finds this hilarious. Once he finally calms down a bit, he manages to take a picture to save for later. 

"Okay, the lads will be here with a kids in a few minutes, so make sure you guys are ready." The girls wait a few minutes and soon hear the front door opening. Julie goes to run to whoever, but Trinity holds her back. A few seconds of silence goes by before a voice is heard.
