I woke up to the train lurching forwards, sending my body with it. I hit the ground with a thud, catching myself with my hands and knees. I look up, noticing Harry, Ron, and Hermione's looks of shock, staring at the window.

I follow their gaze to see ice swirling around the window, seeming like tendrils on a weeping willow. "Based on your faces, I'm guessing that this hasn't happened before," I observe.

Hermione nodded, speaking up. "What's going-" she was cut off by our comparment door flying open.

Standing- actually, floating- there was a hooded figure, it's cloak in shreds. It was giving off an ominous feel, sending shivers down my spine.

I had frozen, and it seemed the others had, too. Before I knew what was happening, the figure was in front of Harry, leaning forwards. It looked as if it would kiss him, which made me wrinkle my nose. Why would it do that?

But when I blinked, it was seeming to suck his face, making him look like a blur. He had started shaking violently, making me lean backwards.

The man in the corner of our compartment, who I had honestly forgotten about, stood up, yelling a spell I couldn't decipher.

The figure fled, leaving a passed out Harry on the floor. So this is what my parents had meant by 'havoc.'

The man went over to Harry and put him on the seat, making his head slump to the side.

He handed me some chocolate, smiling. "Tell him to eat this, it will make him feel better." Then he stood up, and as he did, the train started moving again. He left, closing the door behind him and we sat in silence for a moment.

I finally spoke up, glancing at Harry. "W-what just happened?" I spluttered, raising my eyebrows.

Ron shrugged, his eyes practically bursting out of his head. Hermione glanced at Harry. "I have no idea," she sighed, giving me a nervous look.

I felt the adrenaline slow down and I patted Hermione's knee. "I'm going back to sleep."

When we arrived at Hogwarts, verybody knew what had happened.

As we were walking to the castle- which, by the way, astounded me- my eyes met with a cold, gray pair. Draco Malfoy. My parents knew him, so I had to accommodate hanging out with him during family dinners.

He gave me a nod, which I returned.

I looked away, noticing how a few pairs of eyes were on me. Harry nudged me with his elbow. "You'll have to be sorted after the first years." He instructed in a voice quite similar to Hermione's.

I gave him a swift nod, feeling anxiety rush through me. Up in front of everybody. I'm outgoing, but anxiety and stage fright often take over my body.

I shiver as a Professed walks up to me, extending a hand to gesture to the castle surrounding them. "Welcome to Hogwarts," she said.
