Lillian POV
First days are always scary, especially when it's your seventh, not at a new school, but a new time period.

I couldn't believe we were in the past. There's so much to learn about the past British Wizarding culture. And the curriculum was less advance. My theory about that would be because of the first Wizarding war. The students needed to be prepared.

When I presented my theory to James, he just laughed in my face. He told me I was thinking too much while he stuffed his face with food. So mature.

The night before, we had met with Lily and James at the Gryffindor common room. It had been quite an event. James and James had kept cracking jokes while Lily and I rolled our eyes at them.

There wasn't much to learn when James and Lily were taking. We already knew everything, but had to pretend to be in wonder if the amazing things about Hogwarts.

"Hey TigerLily, do you-"

"No James," I said, snapping out of my thoughts. "I will not be your girlfriend. Can you please stop asking me every day? It gets very annoying after a while."

"I was just going to ask you for a quill," he said in a small voice looking hurt. "But I understand. I'll stop asking you."

"I'm sorry," I said. I could feel my face burning. "Here's a quill."

He took it from me. "Thanks"

Just them James, Sirius, Remus and Peter came and sat next to us. I still couldn't believe how much James and James looked alike. The only difference was James was taller and had warm brown eyes, not hazel. And James doesn't have glasses.

Sirius, from the few pictures I've seen, has always looked handsome. His dark hair falling perfectly in place made the girls around us stare at him for a little too long. Still, there was something about him that made me think of him as just a friend.
