Hello everyone, I needed an excuse to talk to you all about something really important, for both my mental state, and that of some of my friends'.
So the art above was from at a baby shower, the cake had way, and I mean WAY too much frosting (and that's coming from someone who's literally obsessed with frosting and whipped cream). So, this is the all of the frosting that my aunt took off her cake, and she gave it to me, (now I did this with my leftover frosting as well, which will be the next chapter) but I made an image out of it while no doubt more than 50 presents were being opened.
Now Onto The Important Part
Recently, my best friend Marshmallow_Writes has been kind of doubtful of herself and of her abilities. The 100 part of her "What I Do With My Life" book addresses her feelings on the matter.
In this, Marshmallow states that she would look at other artwork such as my own and put herself down, thinking that her work was horrible. However, Marshmallow made the point that her confidence is being raised and that she is beginning to not mind so much.
Now I'd like to address my perspective of the topic.
You see, to me, my art is awful. I'll draw something and think 'Hey, that's pretty good!' But then I come back to it and then my thought is 'What was I thinking, I could do so much better, oh that's really bad. Why didn't I do this? It just doesn't look right.' And I begin to stress over what I see as terrible artworks. But you guys are so supportive, it's incredible.
It's extremely hard to want to be an artist in a career format, and look at your art, then compare it to someone younger than you, and realize that their work is amazing and that yours is just 'eh'.
Like, blueberryC04 I love your art style, and your work is amazing, I love your fanart, and I really like the backgrounds, traits and characteristics you have to your adoptables.
love_1_234 you're a year younger than me and I literally envy your artwork. Your work has grown so much, I literally cannot fathom it. Everything flows nicely, and while you do fanart as well, your way of recreating something, your artistic style is so unique, I would die to be able to come up with a style of my own that's as good as yours.
StarStoriesStudios you are so kind, and your works have a sort of grace that fits in well with what I have seen of your personality, but there's also a bit of quirkiness that blends in with it all to balance everything, and it shows in your art. And I love it, that's such a great way to express yourself, through the movement of lines, colors, patterns, everything.
These are three amazing artists that I know only through Wattpad, and I want to thank you three for being so determined with your work, you are an inspiration. I used to look at art as amazing as all of yours' art, and put myself down, thinking of how I'll never be able to draw like that, but reading what you have to say in correspondence to a drawing helped me realized that so many other people go through so much self doubt.
Your guys' artwork inspires me to strive to be the best I can possibly and one day get a job as a multimedia artist.
So thanks to all of you so much, for being amazing artists, regular people who like to draw sometimes, or just simply here to look at art, thank you all so much for your support, I cannot express to you how much it means to me, so yeah, thanks.
So, tell me what ya think in the comments section below, and if ya like, click on the little shining star too! See ya later my Spirit Pack!

RandomAlright, so, I've loved to draw for as long as I can remember, so I decided that maybe I should finally show off a little bit of it. I'll show you some of my old stuff, new stuff (mostly new, cuz the old stuff is a little crappy), and I'll update as...
