Ok, so again, in art class last year, and please accept my sincere apologies for the really crappy color quality of the picture, I used regular Crayola Markers, Blue and Orange, so nothing fancy, just a crappy picture, but anyway, we chose complimentary colors to make an "illusion."
If you don't know what a complimentary color is, allow me to give a quick explanation, on a basic color wheel there are the three primary colors, blue, red, and yellow, and the three secondary colors, purple, orange, and green. Complementary colors are colors opposite each other on the color wheel, so the pairs are blue and orange (the colors I chose), yellow and purple, and finally, red and green (CHRISTMAS!!!!XD).
For me, this type of illusion doesn't work the same as it does for others, it doesn't mess with my eyes, and it's ver easy for me to spot the shape hidden it the art.
Even though, it's easy for me to see through these illusions, I'm not going to say what's hidden within, in fact, there are two things, both of them technically being the same thing, just in a different position and place. So, in the comments below, tell me what ya see, and if the illusion messes with your eyes a little, I'd really like to know! See ya!
