CHAPTER SEVEN: THE TEST

Today is our test to become a plus secondary exorcist. We're excuse at our classes because Yuki-sensei settle and make it activity of Exorcism Club. Now we're in the parking lot and waiting for Yuki-sensei. We just standing and her car arrived that means she's here. She park at the parking lot and open the door of the car. "Hey kids, come on let's go now. The test will start in 20 minutes" she said so we go inside the car and start moving.

15 minutes, waiting until we arrived at the Bloomsom Temple in the top of the hill. So we climb the stairs until we reach to the top. As we opened the door, many plus tertiary exorcist wanna pass the test. "Okay this is it guys, the moment you are waiting for. Good Luck Guys👍👍👍" She said and she left. The Chief Exorcist is infront so we sat down the benches. "GOOD MORNING EVERYONE. TODAY IS THE TEST OF OUR FELLOWS, PLUS TERTIARY EXORCIST. REMEMBER THIS, YOU NEED TO HAVE A PARTNER TO JOIN THIS TEST AND THIS IS A DUAL BATTLE. THE RULES ARE SIMPLE, YOU CAN USE YOUR WEAPONS AND WHEN THE PARTNERS FAINTED OR UNABLE TO BATTLE, WINS THE BATTLE. YOU NEED TO REACH YOUR PHOTO TO THE TOP SO YOU ARE OFFICIALY PLUS SECONDARY EXORCIST. SO LET THE BATTLE BEGIN" the chief said to us.

We have 5 minutes for preparation for our test. "Are you nervous?" Gerald asked. "A little bit" I answered. "I'm nervous too but we have do our best. The most important role of exorcist is teamwork" He said and inspire me so I stand up and look at Gerald. "Let's win this" I said and Gerald stand up. "Yeah, let's do this" he said.

The time has come, the test begins now. The other exorcists are stronger that I expected. Now it's our turn. "Orchid High School versus Lavender High School" the referee said. Our opponents are girls. "Look, Lovebirds" they said. "They called us a lovebirds" he said. "Focus" I said. "Yeah right" he said. The bell rang and suddenly the two charge. "Honō no katana" (P.S. Japanese of flaming katanas) He enchanted his two katana and charge the girl with a big sword. The other girl charge at me. I jumped higher. "Mizu-fū no ejji no ken"(P. S. Japanese of water wind edge swords) I enchanted my two edge swords. As I fall, I gonna find the target until I found it. I swing my swords and hit her in the body and I stand up. "Gerald look out!" I yelled and he avoid the other girl, hit the girl with the bow and hit to the wall. They fainted. "Orchid High School wins" the referee said. All our weapons back to normal and Gerald come closer at me. "You're awesome" he said to me. "You think I'm awesome?" I asked. "Yeah, you are" He answered and grab my shoulder.

Time Skip..... This is it. We made it until final battle. It is between us and from Rose High School. They make a first move. Man, they're quick. We dodge the ax and the big sword. We enchanted our weapons. I charge the boy with a big sword and we slash each other but he hit me with his big sword upward. I fall so as Gerald. "Penelope, use your mask" Gerald said. "I can't, my identity will reveal if I use it" I said and I stand up. "Maybe this will work" I said to myself. I just look down and focusing my chakra and my magic circle appeared in my back. Our opponents notice it. "Wait! she's a Dual-type!" The boy shocked because they're just a Single-type. "Let's do this, Mizu sutairu: Mizu rōpu" (P.S. Japanese for water style: water ropes) Something came out my magic circle and its the water ropes and start tying the two. "Then I'm gonna use my rasengan" I said. I start making my rasengan and I feel like tired and I'm also low in chakra but I don't care the important is to win this. Suddenly grabbed my hand. "Penelope-sama, give me your water chakra. I have a plan" he said. So I give him one of my chakra. Our chakra came out to our hold hands. A perfect combination. "Wait, how to you know this technique?" I asked him. "Good thing your aunt gave me this technique so we can use it the battle" he answered. "Okay, let"s finish this" I said. The two opponents shocked and wants to ran away. "Mizu kasai no sutairu: Kumiawase (P.S. Japanese of water fire style: combination) We yelled and hit the two to the ground. "And the winner is from Orchid High School" the referee said. I almost fell down because of my chakra, good thing that Gerald catch my fall. "You must be tired" he said. I smiled and close my eyes.

"CONGRATULATIONS TO GERALD VALENTINE AND PENELOPE SCHWEETZ FROM ORCHID HIGH SCHOOL FOR PASSING THE TEST" the chief exorcist said and rewarded a new talisman papers and ink. I'm very proud of myself because my trail of becoming one of the twelve heavenly commanders is just beginning.
