"I was in the other car" my heart stopped. I was hurt, weak, in raged, but all I could do was ask. "What happened? Like were you drunk? Or did you just not pay attention or what? Because these questions have haunted me since I heard the news." He sat back down and I sat down too. "Well first off I wasn't drinking, I don't drink, and second I wasn't driving ether." I furrowed my eyebrows if he was in the other car then he must've been driving unless someone else was.(side note does anyone else no how dumb of a thought that is like 'if he wasn't driving someone else was' like BOI nah fricking duh. But yeah that's all)"My wife was driving," he paused as his eyes started to somehow hollow themselves out in a realization of failure. "The impact made her hit her head on the steering wheel and killed her instantly. The doctor said that I was lucky to be alive and well." I lost my happy glow and went pale "oh I'm sorry for your lose. If you don't mind me asking what was her name?" He slightly smiled at the thought of her name "Lainey." There's a senior at my school named Lainey. She used to hangout with Lexa. Wonder what happened. "Well if it helps at all I know what it's like to lose someone you love." His green eyes locked with my blue-grey eyes. A quick look of desperation and hope in them. "What would you know about losing someone you love?" He said in A harsh tone. The hope and desperation faded to cold hollow eyes. "Well let's see, because of your wife not paying attention my cousin is in a coma." I basically yell at him "at least she's alive." " well she wouldn't be in it if your dumb wife was more observant." Once the words left my mouth I instantly regretted them "well if I was your cousin is be glad I'm in a coma and don't have to deal with you anymore." He said yelling back and walking out. "Agh!" I sat down to think. It's not his fault so why is he upset?.
