Stefan's POV
"The vault somehow pushed them inside and closed by itself. We have to get them out of there. Where's Enzo?" I explained then turn my attention to Bonnie.
"Yeah, I did." she answered. We quickly run towards the location of the vault and found it locked again! Bonnie started banging the door and crying. Caroline comfort her.
"This is not good. Klaus will kill us." I stated. Bonnie and Caroline looked at me.
"Why? We didn't do anything against them." Bonnie said. Caroline looked at me.
"I asked his sister for help to open the vault, Bonnie. She is trapped inside with Damon and probably with Enzo as well." I explained. Bonnie looked at me still confused.
"Rebekah?" she asked. Caroline hold Bonnie on her shoulders and look at her.
"Klaus have another sister Bonnie. The older one. The one who is supposed to be dead but it turns out to be alive afterall. Right now, we are so doom that she is trapped inside with whatever monster it is inside there. They will kill us. Klaus will kill us if we don't get his sister back." Caroline explained. Bonnie's eyes widen at the realization.
We did everything we can to open the vault and waited days in that room. Bonnie, Caroline, Alaric and I are so worried not only for Damon and Enzo but also for Freya. They may not know her but our lives depends on her as well. Even though we are not that close, I wouldn't stop until I get her out of that vault.
"We need to call them. They need to know what happened." I said. They all looked at me.
"Are you insane?! They will kill us, Stefan!" Caroline exclaimed.
"She is their sister, Caroline. Maybe they can help us open the vault. They knew more than any of us. " I explained. I went outside and called Klaus. In an instant he answered and I started explaining to him what happened. I went back inside and look at them.
"What did he say?" Alaric asked.
"He is not happy about what happened especially that we let Freya get involved. One thing is for sure, he is not coming alone." I explained. They all looked terrified but we need them as much as they need us.
Lucien's POV
Niklaus got a phone call from Stefan Salvatore that Freya get involved with their vampire huntress problem. He didn't specifically detailed what happened but he is furious and immediately fly us back to that pathetic little town. Hayley decided to stay for Hope and Lux while Niklaus, Kol, Elijah, Rebekah and I left. Right now, we are headed towards Mystic Falls to get back my fiance. Freya better be safe or I will torture them slowly and painfully.
Stefan's POV
"We should probably pray for our souls already. They won't hesitate to kill us." Caroline sarcastically said with her arms crossed around her chest.
"Caroline, we don't have a choice. Sooner or later, they will find out what happened and it is much better if we work on this together." I explained.
"Stefan's right, Caroline. Damon and Enzo are also inside. We need them and they need us as well." Bonnie added.
"I'd rather say, we need you to bloody tell us what happened to our sister before we kill each one of you." We all turn around and saw Klaus, Elijah, Kol, Rebekah and Lucien standing before us. Before I knew it I am tossed across the room then pinned against the wall by Lucien.
"You better tell me what happened to Freya or I will skin you alive along with you pathetic little friends!" Lucien angrily said. Elijah pull him away from me.
"We all have to relax and think this through. Anger won't solve anything." Elijah calmly said. I looked at them and they are all glaring at me especially Klaus. Just then Alaric came rushing down the stairs.
"I cracked the code. The vault is open." Alaric said. We all vamp speed upstairs towards the vault. What shocked us the most is that the vault is empty. No trace of Damon, Enzo and Freya around.
"WHERE IS MY SISTER?!" Klaus yelled turning at us. Elijah and Kol hold his arms to prevent him from attacking us. Lucien is still standing in the middle of the vault. No expression on his face. Involving Freya on this is the worst decision I ever made.
Lucien's POV
She's gone. Again. I was too late again to save her, to stop her from doing this. Mixture of anger and pain is what I am feeling right now. I don't know if I should blame it on Stefan Salvatore or to myself for leaving her behind. All I wanted was for her to be safe and alive yet I failed to do that again. My thoughts were cut off when I felt a tap on shoulder.
"We should go, Lucien. We will track her one way or another." Rebekah said. She started walking out of the vault while I remain standing here. I don't want to leave. I'm hoping this is some kind of dream that when I wake up, her beautiful face will be right in front of me.
"FREYA!!!!" I yelled out of frustration, anger and pain boiling up inside me. I kneel and started crying. I've never cried nor feel this kind of emotions before but when Freya came into my life, she changed everything. She completely changed me. For the first time in my entire existence, I feel weak and worthless for not saving the woman I love and the mother of my child. I was too caught up with my emotions that I didn't noticed a presence in front of me.
