"Well? Aren't you gonna answer any of my questions?" I asked them.

Shock is still evident in their faces. I crossed my arms on my chest and waited for their response.

"Lucien is not here, sister." Rebekah trailed.

"Then where is he? And what the hell is going on?" I asked again.

"Your lover is on a rampage, dear sister. Maybe on his way to kill Damon Salvatore or Stefan and his pathetic little friends." Kol said

"What?! We need to find him!" I exclaimed.

"That's what we have been doing for the past month, Freya. It seems that Lucien is really finding Damon." Rebekah explained.

"Then you are not trying hard enough." I sternly said and walk out.

I made my way towards my room and started to perform a locator spell. I really have to thank my son for bringing me back and my powers as well. The sand stopped in London.

"Guess I'm going back to London, little one." I said to Lux who is looking at me while he is on his crib.

I hastily packed some clothes of mine in a suitcase when Elijah entered the room.

"If you are going to stop me then don't bother. I found him and I will take him home." I sternly said to Elijah.

"Then we are going with you. Rebekah and I will come with you." Elijah said

I stopped packing my things and immediately hugged him.

"Thank you, Elijah. For everything."

"Anything for you, Freya. You are my sister and I will always be here for you." Elijah replied.

We pulled away from the hug then I continue to pack my things. I carried Lux in my arms and we went downstairs.

"Take care of him while I'm gone okay?" I said to Hayley as she took Lux in my arms.

Lux started to cry as he tries to reach out to me. I kissed his forehead and smiled at him. He stopped crying and looked at me.

"Be a good boy. Mommy needs to get daddy back. You can't come with me. Its too dangerous. When I get back, I have daddy with me." I said to Lux.

He seemed to understand what I'm saying since he already put his head on Hayley's shoulders. I said goodbyes to everyone. Niklaus hugged me and whispered.

"Come back her alive, sister. We have a wedding to prepare for."

I was shocked at his statement but I'm happy that he finally accepted Lucien. I kissed his cheeks and went outside the compound.

Elijah, Rebekah and I arrived in London the next day. We occupied the same house few months ago. As we prepare to find Lucien, an unexpected guest arrived in the house.

"What the bloody hell are you doing here?" Rebekah irritably asked.

Apparently, Althea decided to show up in our doostep. Before I could do something to her, Elijah hold my shoulders.

"I came here to tell you that Lucien is not what he is before." Althea said.

I raised my eyebrow at her and cross my arms on my chest.

"What do you mean by that?" I asked

"Lucien turn off his emotions." she replied

I went stiff with what she said. Lucien would never do that. He would not turn off his emotions. Even if I did die, he would not abandon Lux.

I walk towards Althea and pinned her against the nearest wall using my magic. I glared at her.

"Lucien would never do that. He would never abandon our son." I angrily said.

"Then why don't you see for yourself, Freya. He is in the club right now. I was shocked as well with what he did. I knew for a fact that he will only do that if you are involved." Althea explained.

I let her go as Rebekah comfort me.

"He would never do that! I don't believe you!" I yelled and walk out of the house.

I quickly drive towards Althea's club. As I arrived, I went inside and saw Lucien drinking in the bar alone.

Maybe Althea is lying. I know she is lying. Lucien would not do such a thing. He changed.

"Lucien?" I called him.

He turn around and looked at with me with emotionless expression. I walk towards him and was about to reach out when he stopped my hand.

"Don't you dare touch me." Lucien sternly said.

"Lucien, its me Freya."

"She's dead."

"I'm real, Lucien. I'm alive. Did you really turn it off?" I asked as tears starts to form in my eyes.

"Why do you care? Freya is dead. You are just pretending you are her. " he replied glaring at me.

"What about Lux? Don't you care for him? He is your son." I asked again.

"No."

With that I slapped him hard on his face. He pinned me against the wall as he hold my neck baring his fangs.

"How could you?" I sadly asked.

Tears are flowing down my cheeks as I stare at him. He looked at me still emotionless.

"You are not Lucien. The Lucien I know would never turn off his emotions. He would never abandon our child. You are selfish. Maybe its time for me to let you go. To let us go."

Just then Elijah grabbed Lucien away from me. I looked at the ring he gave me. I tearfully remove it and let it fall on the floor.

"I hope we don't see each other again, Lucien Castle."

With that I walk from him. I walk away from the love we fought for. Maybe its wrong for me to give up easily but he did decided for himself. He didn't even consider the welfare of our son. He just wanted to take all the pain away. He is selfish. Now, I have to forget about him and everything that happened to us. Guess we don't have our own happily ever after.
