|Freya|

After five years...

"Mommy! Can I come with uncle Kol?" Lux asked.

I turn around and saw my little one already grown up. It hurts that everytime I saw him, I can see his father in him. Its been five years since I last saw Lucien. After I found out that he turn off his emotions, I left London the next day. My siblings were shocked that I didn't bother to fix Lucien. Honestly, I'm tired. A lot has happened and I'm tired of it. Maybe it is for the best that we just live our separate lives. He chose that for himself while I chose to be with my son.

My thoughts are cut off when Lux placed his hand on my cheeks. I smiled at him and he smiled at me.

"Smile, mommy. Daddy would not want you to be sad." Lux said smiling.

Lux does not know what have become of his father. I choose to hide it from him. My siblings told him that Lucien is working in London.

"Sister, I will take Lux with me today. Davina is coming along as well." Kol said.

I kissed Lux forehead and nodded at Kol. Lux jumped on his arms and off they go. I went downstairs and saw Niklaus and Elijah talking to someone.

"Freya."

My whole body went still when I heard his voice. After five years, I still love him. I mentally want to curse at myself for being head over heels in love with him.

I looked at Elijah and Niklaus then at him. He is staring at me while I look away.

"Why is he here?" I asked Elijah.

Elijah and Niklaus expression says it all. They made a move without me knowing.

"Is this some sick joke? Is this the reason why Kol took Lux?" I asked them.

"Freya, we just wanted for the two of you to talk things out." Elijah said

"There is nothing to talk about. You both knew that. I'm happy with my son." I replied

"He is also my son, Freya." Lucien said.

I glared at him and slapped him across his face.

"How dare you say that?! Did you even thought about him when you decided to turn off your emotions?! You are selfish, Lucien!" I angrily said.
