The Girl in the Gang (GMW)

Cowboy

I was pinned against the wall, a mysterious man eyeing me.

     "Sir, our front guard is unconscious." A gang member said to the man.

     "Wow. He was our best guard, How?" The man said.

     "No idea, sir. Nothing wrong, no cuts, bruises, or blood."

     "Wake him up."

     "Yes, sir."

The man focused his attention back on me. 

     "Who do you work for?" He asked.

      "Nobody, just me." I answered.

     "Cowboy,"

     "Yes, sir?" Lucas stepped forward, ready for instruction.

     "Cowboy?" I laughed, "Your nickname is cowboy, even here?" I laughed even harder.

     "Cowboy, you know this girl?" The man said.

     "Yes sir, one of my classmates."

     "Did you lead her here?"

     "She must have followed me." Lucas shot me an accusing glance.

     "Sir, Tom is awake." Another man entered, along with the guard I knocked out, Tom.

     "Have you seen this girl?" The man pinning me down asked.

     "Y-yes sir. She attacked me." Tom answered, fear in his eyes.

     "How did you take him out?" The man asked me.

     "I need someone to demonstrate on." I answered.

     "Alright, Phillip, stand in front of her." He let me go and Phillip walked over to me. I did what I did with Tom, everything still moving in slow motion. Tom dropped to the floor and everyone stared at me, surprised. 

     "How are you able to do it so fast?" The man asked.

     "Um.. Everything just moves in slow motion." I answer, unsure.

     "We should consider her." Tom said.

     "No. No. No. We should just let her go." Lucas said.

     "Do you realise what she knows and what she could do?" The man said.

     "I can make my own decisions." I said, annoyed.

     "Oh, right. You're still here." I feel a sharp pain in my forearm, I look down to see a small black dart embedded in my skin. 

     "Damnit. I hate these." I say, falling onto the floor. The world is turning to black.

     "Goodnight little blonde." The man says.
