The Test

I pulled back the hood and the person was...

A pretty person with green eyes and black hair. I almost didn't recognise those red lips,

"Skullie?!?!?" There was more rustling in the bushes and I stood at the ready.

"Uhggg," Lucas said, rubbing his head. "I could've faked passing out, I didn't know you"d actually use th-" he stopped as he realised I was the only one in eyesight.

"What?" I asked, very confused.

"Damnit Cowboy, you blew our cover." The boss stepped out of the woods along with 2 other hooded guards.  I stood at the ready, prepared for attack.

"Put the knife down, it was just a test. And you passed.  Cowboy, get up."

"Lucas?!? You knew?!?!" I asked

He rubbed the back of his neck and looked away. I took a breath to try to calm myself down. 

"It's ok. I'm not mad."

Skullie woke up "Uhggghggggghhh, you didn't say she'd fight back."

"Were you planning to jab that... thing in me?"

"Yep, but you were way too fast for me to do anything. Good job."

I couldn't fall asleep at all. It wasn't the test, that would be a really stupid thing to get mad about. I guess it's the overwhelming fact that I was just accepted into a club of assassins, I passed my first challenge, I am leaving my whole life goodbye without a warning, I left my whole life behind. I LEFT MY WHOLE LIFE BEHIND!!! Mom and Riley and Topanga and Cory must be worried!!!! No, Lucas must've left a note behind or something. he would know.   I walked outside to get a breath of fresh air.

I walked around campus for a while until I heard a little voice in my head.

"Maya?" It whispered, "You up?"

"Yeah Lucas.. I couldn't sleep."

"Ya, I remember my first night, I couldn't sleep either."

"Want to meet up? For real this time, no tricks."

"Sure."

Something grabbed me from behind and covered my mouth, I tried to scream, but I couldn't.

It-he started laughing and let go of my mouth.

"Lucas?!?! Don't do that!!! How did you know where I was, and how did you get here so fast?"

"Well, I was on my way to your dorm, and I saw you walk out, so I followed you.."

"Ok..." 

"Ok, I want to show you the actual best spot for.. hanging out."

OH MY GOSH I AM SOO SORRY!!! I actually don't have a logical excuse except for a writer's block.. Thanks a lot for all the reads!! I'm hoping to write more often, but idk.. Also sorry for the weird formatting in all the different chapters, I'm writing on my computer and phone and it formatted it differently.. Loves yall my cowpeoles!!
