Areum's POV

"Mom! Ill go ahead! Take care OK!"

"Ok Areum! Keep safe! Don't go home late!"

I walked towards the door and headed to school. I can't believe that I'm on the twelveth grade! One more year and Ill be in college!

By the way, I'm Areum, Park Areum. I'm 19 and my parents own the largest companies here in Seoul. Maybe that's one of the reason why my schoolmates befriend me. But I don't trust people easily, unless if they prove themselves worthy for my trust.

"AREUM!! ITS ME!! YOURE VERY BEAUTIFUL BFF!!"

A smile immediately formed on my face. I looked back and saw Jiyoon, my one and only best friend. We were best friends since Pre school and our parents are good business partners.

"Yah! Why are you so noisy! You'll wake up everybody!"

I walked towards her and clinged into her arm.

"Well I don't care about them, as long as you'll be my classmate for the whole semester!!"

Well someones too excited.

"Yeah, thank god mom granted our request this time. She's really hard to convice."

We kept chatting and chatting until we reached the end of our village. Nobody really goes here because it is said that many dead bodies are found here. Well since were too adventurous we walked ahead.

"Are you ready Jiyoon? Its really dark in there, you sure you'll not wet your skirt on the way huh?"

I heard her smirked.

"Pee in my skirt? No way. Let's just go! I'm getting excited!"

We started walking inside this dark alley. As we enter, I noticed that it smells rotten in here. I reached for my handkerchief until I heard........

"AHHHHHH!"

I sprung up and looked around, my heart started pumping fast. I turned my head and found Jiyoon screaming.

"Are you OK?! Gosh why are you screaming!! What happened!!"

I noticed a shadow behind her and a pair of eyes staring right at me.

"Pffft! Hahahaha! I'm just practicing! Anyway let's carry on!"

Wtf?! In split seconds my hands landed on her nape.

"YAH! YOU SCARE THE HELL OUT OF ME! YOU LITTLE-"

"Yeah yeah, come on! Were gonna be late!"

Before I could finish my sentence she pulled me and ran towards the end of the alley. But I remembered the shadow.

I looked back and saw a man, I cant see him very clearly because its really dark but I can tell that he's holding something......sharp.

We reached school while heavily panting.

"Jiyoonie! Why did you suddenly run? Its so tiring!"

She didn't answered but she smiled at me while holding her right arm.

"Sorry! But if we didn't run then we'll be late in the first day. Go on now! I need to go to the comfort room first."

I started worrying. I noticed that she held into her arm more tightly.

"Do you want me to accompany you? Are you sure you're OK?"

"Yes, I'm sure. Well to be honest I'm on my period right now, I think its full so Ill see you! Bye!"

I smiled and waved. I watched her running towards the other side.

I looked down and noticed a liquid substance. Nothing scary except its red.
