Running Away

Areum's POV

"I can't believe you only said this to us, now that its already a really long time ago! Areum what was on your mind?! He was a killer and yet you didn't made any move? You didn't even ignored him and instead you took care of him?"

I looked at my screaming mother while my father is close to blowing up. Gosh. This is the reason why I don't want to tell them.

"Pack your things right now, you're leaving tomorrow."

My head sprung up high as my father spoke. I expected them to transfer me into different locations but I didn't think that it will be this fast!

"What? Where?"

"You're leaving for Daegu, Ill be ordering tickets for tomorrow so be sure to get every thing ready this instance"

My jaw dropped as they turned their backs. They are so paranoid! So before they can even add more consequences I headed towards my room and packed all my things.

While packing my fingers lingered on my phone as I called Jiyoon.

"Yah I told them already, happy?"

I heard a sigh on the other line before she can even speak.

"Gosh Areum, anyway I'm coming with you, our parents agreed on us being independent and living on one house. I guess they will stay here"

"Well of course, they can't leave our companies. So are you already packing up."

"I'm done with that, mom announced it a little earlier so I had time to pack."

I sighed as I stopped myself from packing.

"Jiyoon, I'm a bit worried"

"About what?"

"What do you think Jungkook will do after knowing that I left our district?"

"As long as he won't find leads, were safe."

"Aishh I wish"

"Areum, keep safe there alright? Well be sending allowances in your account. And don't get near strangers"

I listened to my mom as I held my trolleys in place.

"Ne, umma by the way, where's dad?"

"He's on the company today. He said that he's sorry because he can't bid you goodbye."

"Hmm that's alright mom. Just tell him that be safe and I love you both"

I turned my looks towards Jiyoon who is now hugging her parents as I turned towards my mother.

"Areum I'm telling you, be safe and if you see that killer's face again call us immediately. Anyway I love you Areum. Keep safe alright, call us when you get there"

I smiled towards my mom and held Jiyoon's hands as we pulled our trolleys and got on the plane.

"All passengers please turn off all your devices as were now taking off."

I looked at Jiyoon and found her smiling as I turned towards the window and watched as the plane started getting higher.

Goodbye Seoul. Hello Daegu.

"Areum, Areum wake up, we're already in Daegu."

I felt a gently shaking in my sides as I slowly opened my eyes, I noticed that it was already getting dark.

"Jiyoon-ah what time is it?"

"Its 4:57 pm so be fast, we might have troubles on finding the address after the sun sets."

I nodded and stood up. I reached for our baggage and left the plane.

"Areum do you want to eat first or we'll find the house first"

"Let's just find the house first. Its getting dark."

"Arraso, keep your things with you"

We walked until we reached the cab line and asked if the location of our house is far.

"We'll get there in 45 mins ma'am."

We both nodded as I called my mom.

"Mom we already arrived."

"Aigoo my daughter sounds tired, Arraso eat your dinner after you got home. We need to go, love you!"

"Ne, bye love you tell dad to take care"

After the call I rested my head on Jiyoon's shoulder.

"Yah, I didn't know that the travel time would be this long. I'm so exhausted"

"We'll get there Jiyoon, don't worry"

"Anyway how about our school?"

"Mom said that she already transferred us to a school, its called Daegu's Academy of Arts and Music"

"When is t-"

*KRING KRING KRING*

Our conversation was cut by a ringing. I looked at my phone only to find it ringing.

"Who's that? Your mom?"

I just shrugged my shoulder and looked at the caller ID.

"Its an unregistered number."

I notice that Jiyoon's eye brows when near.

"Huh? Unregistered?"

I nodded as I showed it to her.

"Don't answer it Areum, it might be Jungkook. Once you answered that he might be abled to track us down."

I nodded as I looked at my phone and switched it to silent mode. My gaze headed towards the window and admired the scenery until I felt another vibration in my hand.

"Jiyoon, its a text"

"What does it says?"

I read the text a little louder where we can only hear it.

"No escape"

I slowly looked at Jiyoon who is now plastered with an angered expression.

"What does he mean by that?"

"Fuck, what to do."

"Remove your sim, faster!"

I pressed down the power button and it was about to shut down until a message prevented my phone to do so.

"You can't escape me, you'll only make your situation worse Areum. Don't try me."

Nervousness arises as I read it. Jiyoon became silent as she was looking at me.

"Jiyoon I'm scared"

"Remove your sim."

As she said I quickly pressed the power button as I waited the pop up tab but it didn't appeared instead I saw another message tab.

I looked at Jiyoon as she just stared at my phone. So gaining confidence I opened the message.

"No you, no sane wait for me Areum, I will get you, that is if I still have my sanity."

Within split seconds Jiyoon grabbed my phone and opened its back part then she removed the battery and the sim card. As for me I looked outside the window.

"Jiyoon, its possible that he will find me."

"None sense, just don't answer his calls. Ignore his text and your safe."
